15 mil sp and only flying inties in the t2 range? that must be one hell of a carebear character you have.
Im at the 14mil and can fly inties, afs, hacs, and a fully t2 fitted battleship.
but i do admit, my industrial capabilities are severely lacking as a result :)
but i have an alt for that now :)

I really don't understand how clone prices can ever be a serious problem unless you are going through tons in a week.
This is my first character, not a month old, and sitting down for just two hours you can make nearly 4mil mining with extremely poor skills and an Osprey. Older players(in terms of SP) have many, many, many valid ways to make plenty of ISK for that clone fee. If keeping a clone up to date is a concern for you, you are obviously doing activities that consume a certain amount of time per week (some type of low-sec activity, or pvping.) You need to devote a bit more time to making clone payments, it really shouldn't be that challenging.
To be honest, in my opinion, if you are playing one to two hours a week, you shouldn't be putting yourself in a situation that your clone is at risk frequently.
I don't think people being confused about not being able to maintain a clone fee for someone who plays one to two hours a week (just how many clones would you blow in that time anyways?) is perception, it's fact.

imo clone price should be linear with SP not the current system where it is exponential
Yes I agree with that.
I dont see why 1 SP costs more when you have 25 mill sp than when you have 1 mill SP.

I getting confused about what it is your asking or moaning about?
Reread the last line from my previous post. Here you have it.
Originally by: Galifardeua I, personally, don't ask for anything to change but for the consideration that old player equals plenty of isk.
I'm tired of people saying that isk is no problem for anybody because it is no problem for them or their friends. Not everybody has the time, or the will, to play for as long as needed to cater their character's needs. It's tough for us, and I wouldn't like it if it wasn't.
People are too used as to see only what they have in front of their eyes, and if they don't see a problem, because they don't have it, they consider it inexistent. The OP has a problem, that for him is real, and people consider him weird and/or stupid because they don't have it. This is the kind of perception I'd like to change, but I know it's impossible.
So, in sumary: clone prices can (yes, really) be a problem for some people but I don't think they should change.
Have fun.

Damn you are good. /me is in love.
It is true though, that unfortunetly, some of the "older" players are not even able to make the cash to re-buy clones if it all goes boobies upwards.
I distinctly remember a short while ago I had to borrow some iskies from a corpmate that is younger than me in game so I could replace the clone I had just lost to a pvp situation. Not pretty and slightly embarrasing.
Nonetheless I am just (I suppose you could say) a casual player and I find it difficult at times to keep my liquid isk above 50m. I have my main at 19m sp now and 4m off that is a little too much /uncomfortable for me to replace.

The sp on all of my alts is rising pretty rapidly imo. I never even think about buying implants or anything.
Even when I am at my most negative, I still know that I will be buying another year's sub come April.
I will never, ever, ever be able to earn more than 5M isk from grinding in a single session. I can only tolerate 1-2 of those a week.
Eventually, all of my alts are going to have 23M sp though, and then I will have a real problem. I guess I will just have to give away the account to someone with more energy at that point, or just turn off training altogether, or simply retire the account.
When I first started playing EVE, npcs just didn't matter. Then they were something that chased everyone out of mining belts. Then they became swattable, but still didn't matter as much. They were just a part of the scenery. That, along with the concepts sketched out by LeKjart was the EVE that made me want to play.
