Ok this is an auction for a 3 x run BPC of the following item

This item is extremely rare for further background please read Nyphurs post here which is the only other sale I have been able to find of these you can also see that from this data export there are only two types of hull rep listed in game Here.
These items are still broken as of the present time although as Nyphur says they in theory should be fixed at some point in the future so as you can see from the pics they still repair armour at this current time.
These items do require an extra skill to build which will be supplied as part of the package to the winning bidder.... going by bids received in Nyphurs post this bpc could potentially build items worth anywhere from 500mil to in excess of 1bil each.
Okay so that being said lets start the auction.
Start bid: 500m (let's start nice and low)
Minimum bid increment: 100m
Reserve: Yes, I reserve the right not to sell this bpc at any price.
Buyout: Yes, I will accept buyout offers ingame VIA EVEMAIL ONLY.

End time: Sunday 29th October 24:00 Eve Time.
Sniper rule: 1 hour

Hmm, the stats on my 'Peace' Remote Hull Repair unit indicate that it's a small armor repper.
I'd sure like to know when I can repair the freighter with it!

Straight answer atm is no it repairs armor as the stats suggest, I have spoken with Nyphur who has had built items of these and he confirmed that they did repair armor. Although if you look through his post you will see that he says that the issue has been marked as resolved by a GM and is due to be fixed (soon tm). To be 100% honest that could mean one of two things could happen firstly they fix the stats and make it do what the names suggest it does or secondly they change the name of the item though I do not know if that is something they would do or have done.
If it is the first your in possesion of an extremely rare and valuable item.

Glad to see you're selling the bpc. I didn't sell the items in the auction last time, I held onto them hoping they'd be fixed soon and increase in price. I'm still assured by GMs and a personal chat with a dev that they will be fixed but they are taking a long time about it and didn't say exactly what the fix will be.
So far I count 9 in game built and this bpc. There's probably one or two more bpcs out there unbuilt.
I have a corpmate selling some completed ones (the ones I didn't sell from the last auction) if people are interested. I also have the skill required to build them. It's a level 5 skill, by the way, so if the winner of this auction wants to contract me to build their bpc for them, I will oblige to save them a month or more training time.

Thank you for your kind post Nyphur :)... auction is still ongoing still haven't had a chance to check the bp on Kali test build (damn 400 people long q's) then when you do get in getting ctd'd.

Who knows what part is broken. Maybe the item are perfectly fine, but the name is broken. In an upcoming patch the name might be 'peace' small remote armor repairer. |

Last time I spoke to someone in CCP about it, they hadn't decided how to fix it but there were two possibilities:
1) Make it repair structure. Keep the name as it is.
2) Make it repair armour. Change the name to reflect that change.
If they do 1, it'll be worth a ton. If they do 2, the name will still have to be different than the current armour ones, so it'll still be a rare item. I'm sure some collectors would enjoy that. I know I'll probably hold onto at least one of mine.

Ok, if we're going to debate this...
If they do 2, regardless of name, it won't be worth anywhere near what is being asked for on this auction and yours. Not even 10%. Hence, the price has to reflect the (considerable) gamble. The prices you two are looking for do not reflect the risk.

My prices are based on what people have actually offered me before, you can see that in the thread I dug up and re-opened on the sell orders first page. If they do 1, it'll be worth billions. If they do 2, it'll be a very good large armour repairer with the same stats as the other large armour repairer that has a similar name and I've sold several of those for 150mil.
I don't know about you but I find it quite reasonable to ask 300-500m for something that could be worth either 3 billion or 150 million once it's fixed. If it's relegated to an armour rep, it's not a total loss.

At 130hp every 8 seconds, it won't matter if it's renamed "The Dominating, Darkest, Bloodiest, True Shadow Large Remote Armor Repairer" - it won't be worth 150m.

Those stats are the stats of a small remote armour repairer, not a large. It's a mistake :).

Heh, no the stats are exactly identical to the small tech 1 remote armour rep, which is a mistake. And I had word straight from GMs and Tuxford that it's getting fixed. I just wish they'd hurry up with it.

Wow hijack of the thread much guys? I said feel free to eve mail me with any q's as far as I can see Empress Aphrodite you have taken your chip on shoulder over from another thread if you have queries please direct them to me if you have a bid make it if not please leave this thread be otherwise I will ask a mod to delete your posts in regard to this thread.
As I HAVE SAID BEFORE ANY QUERIES please do not hesitate to contact me I would emphasise at no point in this thread have I tried or attempted to deeceive anyone as to the nature of this item and in fact have gone out of the way to show what it is like. Any queries over and above this can be directed at me... one other thing this BPC is being sold by myself and it was also obtained by myself other than the fact that Nyphur was kind enough to verify what he has discussed with a DEV/GM there is no other Link I am the person selling it not Nyphur.
