Ouch.. temper temper.. and what he is refering too is that ASCN deployed there super weapon 600 km off the BoB fleet and all it did was look like a pretty light and it killed the ASCN covert ops that were in the grid and only 1 BoB support ship leaving the fleet looking at a pretty light. Then cyvok jumped the titan out immediatly and logged.. and has been logged off the last 3 weeks ever since. So the ASCN titan killed more of them then us, a sad but 100% true fact.

I think that you will find the fact is true, I've heard it mentioned both by BoB and ASCN members and I believe the killboards also supported that. Hope we can see the titan in action a bit more and see some good fraps with the proper usage of the weapon and lots of booms \0/

The guns been fired twice once as a test on a few mad peeps who wanted to be first killed by titan weapon. Second time attempted on bob where it rather than being a doomsday weapon as advertised was a bit of a letdown. here's looking forward to the 3rd time it fires after a bit of bug fixing. The link above is to the result of the first combat (not test) activation of the Avatar (every kill on the 22:38 minute on October 1st 2006). I'm counting 4 BOB and 4 ASCN losses (one of which is the suicide cyno maker) there. Incidentally the range on the doomsday weapon is misleading, BOB were within range of advertised range but it appears that the label is for the total size of the sphere, not the radius of it. ¼+¼ a history

ElweSingollo Starlancers	Posted - 2006.10.23 21:27:00 - [22] Going via the test server in a suitably tanked battleship you can easily survive it... however most fleet battleships rely on a plate or two and no actual tank to live in large fleet fights that being said the Amarr titan does EM damage stick 2 plates on a battleship and a DC you will get big damage but probably live stick one plate and tank em and armour will go down to maybe 3/4 or about half at most. Just depends on your layout at the end of the day.
