My bets are on CCP introducing corpse decay and then introducing the skills after all the old corpse have passed their sell-by date. I might be wrong but I think it's just wishful thinking that all the old corpses will be useable. Lanfear's Bane. I highly doubt that will be necessary. The corpse's probably don't keep implant data in them. So only new corpses after the updates will be affected.
