Well, actually, the reason most non-retards dislike furries is the fact most of them seem to have a need to flaunt the fact they're furry and extol the virtues of being furry, and why its so much better than not being furry, and so forth and so on, which is fairly similar to those who have too much *** pride (ofc, who gets to define "too much" is in question). Its the reason I dislike a lot of them.
But the people flaming furries in this thread have effectively been conservative minded hypocritical retards :>

Could also be a mind-set... people usually associate cats with being cuddly and cute, so people think cat ears make the girls cuddly and cute.

It's actually more of a double personification thing. People assign human traits to cats, then add cat traits to humans to further exaggerate the association of those traits with both cats, and that person.
Sorta like christmas trees. We associate christmas with pine trees. Associate pine trees with the conical shape. Then trim our christmas trees into cones. |
