OK, I know that the Bugs are reported Right?
Send your fighters out for 100 Km they go there with MWD, call them back and they come with their orbiting speed. So you sit there for 10 Minutes or more (In a fu... SSSh very expensive ship) to wait for your fu.. SSS bad Fighters to come back to you or say goodbye to roundabout 250 Mils of Fighters. The next step is, after you ordered your Fighters back to Dronebay and waiting for the buggers you have to warp out, going to a savespot. My Idea of normal behavior of Fighters would have been that they follow me and return to Dronebay after I arrived at the savespot. But no such Luck, they stayed where they are and I had to assign them first to a mate who was near my fighters and have him give the Control over my fighters back to me. This was the only chance to get them back.
Same happend last time I send out Logistic Drones from my Domi. I send them away for about 60 km and they used their MWD to get there. But again, as I recalled them to Dronebay the craweled back with orbitingspeed.
I did not find this in the Known Issues, but I know it is reported. I thing I will undock only once per Evening, sent Fighters a few kilometers out, have them crawl back and write a Bug report or Petition in case they are lost. Every time till this is fixed.
Sorry for ther rant but i am not happy atm...

When you have recalled your drones, have you tried recalling them again ? ie twice ?
I use Drones alot and this works without fail everytime, i send them out to kill or repair something, then recall twice and they micro warpdrive back to my drone bay instantly !
Worth a try matey, hope it helps

Tried to recall them more then twice. Especially if you wait for more than ten minutes for your fighters to return you get a bit impatient :-)
Same with logistic Drones.
I have no Problem whatsoever with normal Drones, OK, I still miss that they don`t show the Damage they are doing and that they dont compute the stats with your Skills when they are in your Dronebay. But that is only a minor concern for me if they work right.

After Revelationpatch still the same Problem, Fighters returning at Orbitspeed from 150 km out. Took 12 Minutes to get them back on Bord!

CCP knows.
Apparently they have better things to do than fix drones/fighters.
We had a 8 page thread going in the Revelations forums for these olld bugs to addressed. Seems like they will continue to age.
