Heya all, now i'm sure everyone here loves Ss2 as do my friends and I and Richard, his brother and myself have recently been getting together to play SS2 multiplayer. Now we've been coming across some wierd problems that none of us have met during the single player game, we have met textures that can be picked up as though they were items (trust me, WEIRD when it happens, YOU try throwing it back in the right place ;.; ), monsters that are completely invisible and indestructable, stuck incidents and other such nastyness. Also we are having extreme difficulty getting our computers to connect, two player works every time but if we try a three player game then often it takes us many many attepmts to connect (our main game is three player but some days it simply won't work so we try again another time) none of us have any third party mods installed. Could anyone perhpas explain some of the things that are going on? I realise that multiplayer in SS2 was never propperly implemented but perhaps some people know of fixes? Thanks in advance peeps.

Playing SS2 in multiplayer is cool... but doesnt it kind of defeat the purpose of the game?
You know, being creeped the hell out because you know there is no one onboard who can help you.

I suppose it does but my friends and I have all already played the game single player, in multiplayer we can just have a laugh together (or swear at eachother as they grab your ammo/nanites/modules/upgrades/etc)

Use an older savegame from the network game, once items have disapeared you have nil chance of retrieving them.
