Glad to see you're not releasing bpcs of items that aren't in the game worth 20 billion isk this time. I hope you don't go back to that, ever.
People are naturally wary when a dev injects something valuable into the game to a single player at random without a publically verifiable selection method. I've even heard people say it's one of your alts that win the DC bpc, duckling. Tinfoil hats on! :D

Approximately a GTC sells for 150mil... He injected $2,000 into the game.
(or $1,993.33 to be precise)

Theres been no "Cash injection" into eve with the release of BPC's
Tech II items built from them will be sold to other players not to npc corps, so the total amount of cash floating about eve wont change one isk. The players who won the prizes will be rich yeah, but at the expense of those who wish to purchase the items.
Total amount of cash injected into eve = $0.00
Personnaly would like to see more Ingame Items than RL Items. Jove Battleship bpc's FTW :)

He said cash, not isk. No isk was injected but a value was given to one player, a redistribution of wealth in his favor. In its approximate value in cash, that's worth what he said it's worth.

I said cash too please read my post if you are going to reply to it. This "$" is a dollar symbol and refers to US Dollars. The use of the term "He injected $2,000 into the game" implys that the amount of ingame currency in circulation has been increased by that which can be purchased with $2,000 of GTC. " No isk was injected but a value was given to one player, a redistribution of wealth in his favor" ????? isnt that what a said "The players who won the prizes will be rich yeah, but at the expense of those who wish to purchase the items"
The point I was trying to make was that the handing out of bpc's will not cause any devaluation of the value of the isk in terms of what it can purchase - so I really cant understand why people object to them been given out as prizes.
If the ingame prize had been 10,000,000,000 isk then this would have incresed the amount of isk in circulation and therefore caused inflation.
The handing out of BPC's does not adversely affect those who dont win !!!
So which would you prefer to win ? A 100 run cargo expander II bpc ( hint , hint ) or a nice fleese.
Different people will prefer different prizes and I think theres room for both types of prizes ( ingame and outgame ) and maybe alternating between each type is the right way to go.
If you only offer o.g. prize it will not incentivise as many people as if you offer both i.g and o.g prizes, and the purpose of all this is at the end of the day is to get as many people involved in EVE as possible.
