EVE Search - Gemini 934 Screen hang

Genesis Cosar	Posted - 2003.11.03 18:49:00 - [1] Edited by: Genesis Cosar on 03/11/2003 19:00:41 hey guys just intstalled eve on another of my comps. amd atholon xp 2100 512 MB of pc 2100 ram runing a k7n mother board with the nvidia chipset on win xp os. I have the exact same comp next to it, with the exact same setup. only on this computer after installing game from disk (original ver. #) and trying to start the game, it freezes up on the nice little eve picture and the menu bar says Gemini 934. all my other desktop features work and the eve app. and process are in the task manager. I've tryed downloading the full ver. from the web site and manualy installing the patch but all I get is at best the new nice little eve screen before the login screen. anyone know a work around or fix to this? anyone even got the same prob? only real diff I can see between machince is the irq setting for the video drivers between the 2 but no conflicts on this machiene....really baffled any help welcome. Reah	Posted - 2003.11.03 19:48:00 - [3] tried to update gfx card drivers? u have correct directX version? tried to reinnstall windows? tried to format harddrive? just listing some suggesttions i thought of :)
