my name is Sarabando and i would like to ask some questions. is it possible for one who opposed the Empire to be forgiven ? because i did. I flew with the UK and tried to rejoin them but recently i have noticed that somthing was missing from my life not wealth or power but God and i want to know what must i do so that i can be forgiven and be apart of the Golden fleet. my grandmother was a follower of the ways of the amarr and even thought my father disaproved of her she told me many things about the Empire and God. She said once that "the path of God is a thin line that we must all tread." i belive that i never walked that path. i recently was in two situations were my life was threatened both outside of my capsual, firstly i was mugged by a matari who was a former slave acording to his ownership brand on his face, the second was when a storage container ruptured and filled the area were i was with water, out of twenty three people i was the only servivor. while in medical i had alot of time to think about my life and my lack of purpose over the last few months. i had a feeling like a low pitch noise that cant be ignored, a felling that i must prove that i am truly sorry for my crimes and that i can change my ways and behavior. are there any loyalists out there who can help me reach my goals of forgiveness so i may flly with the golden fleet?

You don't need any ancient scriptures or thin path or Tooth Fairy or golden fleet.
Look deep within your own heart and your own mind. You'll find what you need there, hun.

The sins of the UshraKhan are great and many yet once in awhile a soul sees the falicy of "freedom" they present and instead realizes something is missing from their lives.
GOD
Sarabando you have sinned a great sin and only God can provide the forgivness your heart needs. You must truly repent and beg His forgiveness. We can not provide the blessing you need only He can yet know this. Even one not of Amarr such as yourself, born with the disfortune of being a lessor, can rise above and serve the Empire of God and all it stands for.
Your close calls with death have led you to the realization that a life of heresy and sin are not the path one wishes to walk as they near the end of thier days. When God calls us all to account where will you stand on the side of light or in the shadow of darkness?
You have taken the first step toward the light yet you still reside in darkness. If you are truly repentant I invite you now to confess your sins to all here and open your heart that we may know you truly desire the gifts of God and are ready to serve Him without fail or personal desire. Service to God is a duty not a desire. You must know in your heart that He is our true leader and the guardian of all we hold dear.
Atone for your actions, repent your sins and beg God forgiveness, offer apology to those you have wronged in the name of terrorism and you will be on the path of saving your soul.

If you think a weakness can be turned into a strength, I hate to tell you this, but that's another weakness. You seek God. Why, to pretend your destiny is at hands of "something" out there who will save and justify you and give you a meaning? And you call this "faith?" To acknowledge the power within, that God is no more and man is the owner of it's true destiny requires an infinitely greater measure of faith than to expect your life given to you as a protocol.

Repenting is a first step in a long and painfull walk. It will require many sacrifices to wash the blood off your hands, but it can be done. Archbishop has proposed you a first one, and he's a Saint man almost. Hear his words, and escape from those who may try to misguide you, and you might find salvation. --------------------- One Empire, One Emperor, One Faith, One Amarr... Repentance?
There is no repentance here... only betrayal of what you once knew to be true.
Sarabando, you are standing on the edge of entering into yourself into voluntary subjugation... an existence defined by the self-serving interests of those who claim to interpret the will of this so-called "god". It is no better than self-imposed slavery, at its purest.

If God is real and you have truly sinned, why is the Empire a necessary part of forgiveness. I mean theoretically speaking... is "God" that shallow?

God has Chosen, and so has Sarabando Chosen as he once did. It's not a question of depth, but of Faith. Do you see such Faith in the dens of the Gallente, the corps of the Caldari, or the huts of the Minmatar? I'm afraid not, but you can keep looking there if you have no better thing to do with your time and life. --------------------- One Empire, One Emperor, One Faith, One Amarr... I dont think this would be a waste of time. It sounds like a good way to start a long winded journey to true faith...

This is a journey that I've been on for a long time, although not for the reasons one might think.
The real question I have though is, faith in what? Faith in God or faith in the Empire?
Or are the two inseparable?
