Iceland resumed its whaling this week and has sofar caught and butchered 2 whales for consumption.
Over here there is a call for a boycot of Islandic product imports, tourism and services, in response to the recent resumption of whaling in Iceland (and not just your usual left wing nuts either, but large consumer organisations).
Should I prepare to pack my hangars and leave EVE for good if Iceland persists and continues to hunt whales? Or is CCP going to publicly distance itself from this barbarism?

why the f*** do people care so much about whales ? its old icelandic food and it would be nice to have it back.. its not like were slaughtering them all, theyr not endangered.. and leaving eve wouldnt accually do anything to stop whailing :/

You should just leave EVE IMO.
I think CCP should have a nice office dinner, and serve whale meat, and film it and put it on YouTube.

if your gonna say things like this you have to aslo include that norwegians are in scottish waters (legally and illegally) trawling our waters.. and if any1 from scotland says anything negative about this fact they get *******ed for being racist.
Also.. when whales that were hunted by the old Icelandic populace, they were no where near as industrialised as they are today... so saying "its not like were slaughtering them all, theyr not endangered" does not mean they wont be... and for years the whale population has been growing due to protection laws... which imo is necesary. b4 any 1 goes flaming me for having a go at norweigens or being a hippy... i have nothing against the norwegian population. just the way the british governement (the english side of it) looking at Scotland as a british colony. n im gonna stop there as i can take this rant further. :rant over:
