Too often we are all busy flaming, trolling and abusing each other on these forums that sometimes we forget to take a step back, look at the bigger picture and give praise and thanks to those involved directly with what makes eve so
great.
I would like to take the time now to thank,congratulate and send my praise to CCP, The producers,managers,developers ,testers and all those involved in the going-ons at CCP HQ for all the hard,dedicated work that you guys put into this
game.
So why am i taking the time now to say this? Well to admit i have noticed a distinct trend in the last month to three months revolving around CCP and the community, a trend that i think is starting to pay off and ultimatly will make EvE a much better place to be in. CCP do listen and do act, im refereing to the prompt decision made to install new hardware on november the 1st, not too mention im sure everyone here is excited about kali and what it contains and i have to admit from what i have seen the new stuff looks amazing, hats off to the developers getting it done (im a dev and i know how stressful it can become) but not only that what i think is truly awesome is the testing going on, testing is critical and i can see alot more of it is being done especially with regards to the stress tests to help the servers. On top of that there is the fact that the community is listend to (not always, lol) and interacted with via forum replys and dev blogs, awesome stuff guys :) and changes are being made on good suggestions made on these forums, we can see it.
I think the community also needs to be thanked, mainly for idea's and discussions that go on in these forums, im sure it does help CCP in many ways.
Im sure in the next few weeks there will be a few issues (hopefully not) and this little bit of praise may be forgotten but i figured that now was the best time to get it in and i do hope that it is not soon forgotten.

Hellmar nerfed my Vagabond with his wcs ideas! I can still remember him from the Eve TV interview, "I dont like when people run".

No, seriously, it was the right move. CCP is definently back on track with a lot of new stuff they have brought in in Kali. :)

Dragon patch didn't go perfectly (some techinical problems and bad communication just after patch), but generally CCP has done great job. And honestly, when you think about how big architectural change Dragon was, it realistically couldn't have gone much more better.
Stay firm, follow your dream, don't listen whiners too much, drink some beer, drool after boobies and EvE will continue to grow.

Good job CCP
Keep up the devlopment and expansion and once in a while step back and look at the original dream and ensure you are still fulfilling it.
Love the game and can live with the bits I don't. But then whats perfect?

Anyway, CCP often does not recieve the credit they should deserve. There are always things for improvement but lets not lose track of all the good stuff CCP has brought us over the years.
