tbh, I doubt it'll be anywhere near as good at that.
Oh, and that isnt a pre-rendered movie. I have a friend of mine, Jason that worked on the game's tech presentation. They are using:
AMD X2 4800 64bit Windows Vista Beta SP1 (W/ DX10 support) 2x Nvidia Geforce 7950 512mb GPU 4GB Corsair DDR RAM ------------ Peregrinus Amarria

Because it is.
I'd put money on the fact it's a cinematic demo and not in-game footage. Companies usually put their best work into trailers to entice people to buy the games, just look at Blizzard Entertainment.
You're wrong.
You know why you're wrong? Because people dont waste money on crappy cinematics like that, if that was a cinematic it's a peice of crap. Cinematics, okay ones even are exteremely good. Or to quote you:
"Companies usually put their best work into trailers to entice people to buy the games, just look at Blizzard Entertainment."
Gaming companies dont waste money on shoddy (by a CG artist's standards - I am one) work like that. ------------ Peregrinus Amarria

god, people now-a-days. Understand once and for all: Graphics create no network lag, network lag is caused by profound amounts of physical data going through a pipeline and back. Graphics are client side, not sever side, and thus have no effect. All of what you saw in that could easily be achieved with the engine/lag we currently have. ------------ Peregrinus Amarria

Might wanna read up on CCP's devblogs man.
Kali 3 and new engine will not REQUIRE a DX10 OS OR a 690$ GFX card. I personally own a Geforce 7950 - it didnt cost me more than 295$ USD. Plus, both of those upgrades, regardless of the price would be for your own benefit, not only for gaming, but for overall Stability of your system. ------------ Peregrinus Amarria
