I know it's just a little thing, but Gallente lovers like me are wondering: where's the Hyperion model? Revelations is supposed to go live in a month or so, and the Hyp is still missing its model. That's kind of disturbing, really. Is the model being redesigned?

Of course it's being redesigned. It's universally hated. Every other model/texture is 100% done. Do the math.

This was also done when dreads and tier 1 BattleCruisers they just put BS/Frig.
The ones that where not read didn't have models and stuff.

I would like to see something similar to the Machariel but change the textures to look more gallente. Something massive but sleek.

Now I hope they are changing the model, I realy do, it doesnt look fast at all, and it looks like a giant but plug, awefull.
But lets be honest, the model had been decided ages ago, it just hasnt been added yet for whatever reason.

I like the Hyperion concept too. I completely agree about the guns on the arse being a very, very bad thing.. but apart from that tiny issue, the idea is fantastic.
I love how the Gallente fleet has such a variety of form.. There are so many wildly different shapes. I wouldn't mind if they unify the colour schemes a bit more with the trinity 2 upgrade.. but the ships themselves (especially the second generation, Cat, Brut, Cap ships) look great.

I like those ships, but do not like the new Hyperion model (or at least the 2d pictures I've seen.) It just didn't look organic, or sleek.

People, how can you not like a model that you havent even seen in 3d? 
Personally, immagined it to look cylindrical sleek stylish, like the Stabber, so it does actually look like it can go fast.
And the guns on the nose/butt, thats cool and pretty logical, considering that you'd want all the guns to hit with the same timing and precision, not fire from different possitions scattered all over.

One of the possible problems with the Hype model that we were shown is the turrets firing arcs intersecting the large engine housing that is unfortunately positioned surrounding the center section of the fuselage.
Maybe lowering the engine housing profiles would fix that (making them the shape of the Thorax engines and orienting them parallel to the fuselage circumference).

I kinda allways tought that the hyperion model does not really represent a BS the consept.
Instead it looks more of that minmatar titan shape. And overall the consept feels to be made for a bigger ship that a BS.
Yeah I would allso like more sleek model. Perhaps deimos styled ship on BS size.

True, though in the case of the current Hype concept it's a little extreme. The Avatar isn't and never will be common enough for such a thing to be a problem. Who knows though...
IMO the devs are being overly cryptic here. The audience is captive enough as it is.

But from what I read, its already being redesigned anyway, that is out of our hands, and if you liked the concept... you might like the redesign 'even more', the concept couldn't have been the 'epitome of perfection' for you? It's possible for it to be better :P

Taking a small part of my post, and quoting it out of context, then mocking me for it? :P thats just low hehe
I'm just saying people should stop going on and on about how they think that design 'concept' looks like a butt plug to them, or whether or not they liked it, because I thought it was already in the process of being redesigned (the reason its not already ingame like the other ones) & thus, entirely out of our hands :)
