I am a casual gamer. I am looking for a corporation that can accommidate the hectic schedule of a person that is a husband and father. It seems like I never know for sure if I am going to be able to get some time in playing or not. I've been playing EVE for close to two months now. Just running missions for the most part. I am a Caldari pilot, but I am flying Minmatar. I have approximately 2.5 million skill points. I am currently flying a Rupture, but have been seriously thinking about a trading career, long term goal to gain Fenrir, and/or a mining career. I would like to get out and explore other parts of the galaxy. I have a buddy that is in the same sort of situation I am in and is also looking for a corporation. Thanks.

Hi Kufra,
Take a minute or two to read our recent recruitment post and give one of us a convo/evemail if it seems good to you :
We are currently looking to recruit a few new and established players in all time zones.
A bit about us:
Archon-I is a 2-year-old corp with members from both U.S. and Euro time zones. It is a non-dictatorial corp so you are free to do whatever you feel like (except pirating acts please).
Our existing Directors/members have a æKnowledge TransferÆ approach within the corp and will actively assist the newer Eve player to progress quickly towards their chosen goal(s).
For the older character (or adventurous newb!) we are currently active in scouting systems with a view to putting our POSÆs up and newer members will be encouraged to be involved in this following their integration period.
Currently based primarily around Derelik region with hq at Alkez but with numerous other offices scattered around (i.e Gelhan, Ishisomo, New Caldari Prime, Rens, Vouskiaho, Malkalen). The easiest option is to tell whoever you contact within Arc-I where in the Eve universe you are and we will inform you of the nearest office that you can apply at.
Corporation tax rate is set at 5% which is payable on mission rat bounties over 45k.
We offer the following incentives:
Gangs available for: missioning, mining, hunting, etc.
Access to general corp hangers (after integration period), which provides T1 modules, ammo, drones, etc.
Acquisitions û we have many BPOÆs available for a Director to produce items for your personal use or to provide a BPC for you to produce an item yourself. Just ask and we will try to accommodate.
Skill packs will generally be available to assist in specialising your skills.
Teamspeak access, (not compulsory but will be beneficial once in low sec systems).
An out of game website: allowing you to get to know the corp better and discuss virtually anything within the forums.
Finally, we keep in touch with our ex-members and as a result have many contacts throughout the Eve universe, so if you want to get into a specialist pvp or large-scale production corp later on we may be able to help you with this.
What we ask of you:
An integration period of 1 month to ensure that Arc-I is the place for you and vice versa. During this time all rational requests for mods,ammo,skills etc. will be issued to you by an established member.
Participate in corp chat.
Join the occasional gang.
Be courteous to other corp members.

ôThe Graduatesö [TGRAD] is a generalist corporation involved in all aspects of Eve, and was originated by ex-instructors and directors from Eve University. Our organization that has two major goals: Managing the ISS Cassini station in Pure Blind for ISS, and training players for life in 0.0 space / PvP.
We are a friendly, active bunch that has access to everything, including PvP, PvE, Ratting, Industry, POS management, Station Management, Research, Mining, you name it.. Most of our members are involved in more than just one activity, and we like it that way. Our members tend to be on the mature side, and we put the emphasis on friendliness and fun. We don't accept smackers and leets.
ISS Cassini is one jump from Empire, making us a true Empire/0.0 space corporation, so you wonÆt limit your game by joining us and resupply/access is not an issue.

Hi Kufra 
It seems to me you seek the freelancer life. And you are in luck because we are a freelancer corp, Terra Incognita (TINCO), in a freelancer alliance, the Confederation of Independent Corporations Alliance (CIC).  . We only have 4 basic rules: No Scamming, No Thieving, No Pirating and No Smacktalking. So lots of Freedom!
We do not have corps duties or taxes. No duties does not mean we do not work together because we do, but we do not force you to anything. And we are quite succesfull in what we do. We are a medium sized corp of traders, miners, scientists, producers and mission runners. And are mainly based in the Citadel. We have members from the USA, India, Australia and Europe. Our corp is over a year old, so we do have good experience.

Hey,
30 myself, 5 year old that just started K. Travel alot with work. Chance for you to see distant part of universe with great group of guys. Most are very mature, covering all time zones. Someone all most 23/7. give me a shout.

Just to add to the responses, if your interested, I'm starting up a mining/production corp in Caldari space. And if you want to take a hand at mining I can help you there, or what ever else you'd like to try. Right now there's only 2 people, a few others that are thinking about joining up etc.
It's not much, and I'm hoping to build it into more. But pretty much anyone is welcome to join, and I could badly use slightly more expereniced players than the ones I've been trying to get aboard right now.

HI Kufra,
My corp has a lot of people in your suitation, on fact one of my officers is a father with a very young daugther. He is really happy in the corp, most of us juggle RL and eve-life just fine.
I can see you want to have your fun but not have to worry about unreasonably large commitments from the corp, because you want to focus on family life.
