Edited by: Revenant Shadow on 26/10/2006 04:05:21 Just when I thought I'd seen everything:
Waited another 5 hours on line and when I finally got to #1 it booted me off during authentication because my "stay-alive timer" had expired. What's that even mean? I've never seen nor heard of it before.
Another question: There were 250 players online when I got home, but now there are only 111. Also, when I was at #3 for five minutes, the number went from 107 to 114... how exactly do you cut a digital line? Seems like the whole system is borked straight to hell. A cap of 300 user, the one Sharkbait said we'd get, sounds very reasonable to me, but 110? That's hardly massive and barely multiplayer in a game with over 5,000 areas. In the hour or so I have played, I haven't run into a single player.
Sorry for the rant, but I'm just feeling useless. There's so much new content that needs testing, but so far I've waited in line for almost 20 combined hours to do a whopping total of one hour of testing. First time I crashed after 5 minutes, then got a node death on login, then played for almost an hour, no didn't even get past the login screen. On top of it all, the bug reporting for got taken down so it's a wasted effort anyway.
