Actually, it's old news. Any time you buff one playstyle, the playstyle that is counter to the one being buffed is nerfed.
EHP buffs were a nerf to ganking.
Decreased Concord response times were a nerf to ganking.
The insurance nerf was a nerf to ganking.
I can list more examples of the numerous times CCP has nerfed ganking over the years.
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.

The only thing in this game that has been nerfed more than ganking is Caldari. And that's saying something.
