changelog for 1337:
as of next patch, attempting to jump into any system will first load up how many pilots are already there. if they are at the jumpin point, their configs and combat history will be scanned. If they are more uber than you, you will be destroyed instantly, thereby saving the jumpgate the energy of even trying.
Any pilot who waits for the arrival to load before attempting lock will be banned. Such behaviour will not be tolerated.
AGENTS: To improve PvP, agents' "find player" - deemed by many to be somewhat less than useful - will be overhauled as well. Instead, queries for player locations (only) can now be made to agents directly from your ship!
GoneStar live assistance services will then direct you to the nearest ambush of whatever corp or alliance hates you the most, thereby facilitating PvP.
All MWDs, ABs, WCS and similar devices will be abolished. Instead, mining lasers will all come with big shiny red buttons. Pressing the big shiny red button will teleport your ship, your nearby non-secure cargo cans, and 1000 arkanor to within 10 km of the nearest Empire-controlled sentry guns which you'll be in no danger of splashing 'cause you don't even know what a weapon module LOOKS like, do you.
This will ensure that the only people who fight in PvP are those who want to fight, unless of course you dock and log or warp to a nothing or hide at a moon or something, and that anyone who DOES want to fight will be met with the maximum shaftage possible until the 'bad guys' and the 'good guys' are all using the same tactics anyway because there are no other.
We will first test this on Bedlam to make sure no one likes it, thereby achieving balance.

If some teleport **** will come in this game then Im out
It just sucks, I mean I like the risk mining, This is just crap, and if it will come, make some skill 2 do this, that takes like month or some 2 traina

Please make sure they add a BIG RED WIN BUTTON to my ship. We want to make sure we talk all the fun, risk, and drama out of the game. I want to stare at a roid all day long with mining lasers huming away. And, when someone threatens me I just press the "WIN" button and *pooof*
