Invention will increase demand for t2 components and should make pos's more profitable, but I don't think there are any direct changes.

although, as more people will be selling t2 items the prices will go down on t2 items, and if it gets so bad the t2 component prices will also drop due to the lack in profit made from t2 equipment ___ Recruiting Miners! WTB Minerals! |

That's like saying that the price of lemons will go down as more people start making lemonade.

If one takes for example T2 cap rechargers that are used my alot of people and are simple better then T1 named version. They cost 24 million or so on the market, but cost less then a million to make. Every body and their alt would be will to pay 14 million (the current cost of best named T1 18%). So even if they cost 2 million to make from invention their still a 12 milllion profit per item. As T1 named can be used to make T2 BPC the resell market will fro named will grow and people (hopefuly) will be able to aford T2.

Their is also booster production and gas harvesting (gas silos and bio reactors are on the test server) which will give yet more uses.

That's exactly correct. Lemons are cheap because there's a huge market for them; as an item becomes more popular, prices drop due to economies of scale and increased competition between producers. Persimmons are more expensive than lemons because the persimmon market is smaller; if persimmon-ade suddenly became hugely popular, persimmon prices would initially rise due to supply shortages, but would eventually drop below current levels as production ramped up.

Yeah it makes sense, but this isn't how the Moon mineral market works.
The price will go up and POSs will be more profitable as there will actually be a demand for moon mierals and reactions when T2 BPs are more widespread.
So more going from an almost nonexistant market outside of contracts to a market. Then competition may drive the price down... but you'll still be making more money than if it wasn't sold.

The problem with the idea that moon mins and so on will drop in value is leaving out a few things.
1. Not everyone can moon mine, simply becuase of the massive investment required, maintence costs and time it demands.
2.Not every moon has X material, hell i know of 1 that has absolutely nothing to mine. Not every moon is going to contain X material. Its not like veldspar where you cant spit without hitting one of them.
3.Few people have T2 bpos. I know i don't. I could moon mine if i wanted. So #players/corps able to moon mine>#players/corps able to use moon mins to produce items. Its kind of like selling snowcones in antartica.
4.Increasing the number of T2 producers will raise demand for moon mins/reactions ect drastically. This should level supply and demand out which will favor the moon miners yet t2 producers will absorb the cost with ease through sales.
5. #4 increases demand for moon mins ,increasing profitabilty. At the same time #1 regulates growth in moon mining as well as the moon's make up themselves. Just becuase moon mins suddenly become profitable doesnt mean a lot of people will be able to cash in on the shift in "supply and demand".
So to say that the changes are going to destroy 1 aspect of the market or the other is lacking in depth of thought. Its more of an alarmist point of view.
As for the current t2 producers, I cant really say i can shed a tear for them. As a t1 producer im itching to get a peice of that pie. At the same time I have no plans on walmarting t2 products. I actually like to make a decent profit unlike 99% of the other producer/sellers I have encountered on the market. I try to econo-gank them if you will by turning a profit on their mistakes.
