I have seen written on this forum that if you do 15 level 1 or 2 and then 1 level 4 mission, that the important mission after this will be level 4.
Is this correct, or does the level of the important mission depend on the average level of the missions coming up to it, or the majority, or does each agent have an independent counter?
(Example of the last; do 15 level 1, 15 level 4, no IMs, next one with either agent gets you an IM.)
Does anyone have any experience of this? I'd love to get IMs from one tough mission each.

Once you do 16 level (X) missions (for same corp, doesn't have to be same agent within that corp), you get a level (X) important mission.
Replace (X) with 1-4
you could do 15 level 1 missions, 15 level 2 missions, 15 level 3 missions and 15 level 4 missions without ever getting an important mission. Do 1 more more for all 4 levels, and you will get 4 important missions.
Mission counters are independant of each other for each level
I run a mixture of level 3 and level 4 missions for same corp. Mostly level 4s, but never get a level 3 important mission until I have done 16 level 3 missions.

Corporations have nothing to do with important storyline missions. As long as you do 16 missions (of same level) to agents belonging to same FACTION, you will get a important mission (of same level).

Thanks - I should have known that one would have been covered. Back to grinding level 4 then.
