 ôOfficialö Ekliptika announcement.
Ekliptika is no moreà The alliance called Ekliptika has come to an end. The last Ekliptika corp has left the alliance 26-10-2006 The remaining one or two corps are dead corps.
If I say so my self I thought Ekliptika was the best name for an alliance out there. And not only was the name great, Ekliptika was a great alliance to be in. I myself had been a member for a few months. When I joined Krollji was the PM of EKP, not long after Deakka took over. Both where good people and good leaders. Shortly after Deakka stepped down as PM of EKP we did not know what to do. More people where leaving and we where leaderless. After 2 days EKP lost almost every member corp. It was clear to us that EKP was coming to an end.
I would like to thank all former EKP corps for the great time we had! And a special thanks to Babs Johnson and Metaforge for creating the GREAT alliance.
Now its time to say goodbyeà
Ekliptika we will remember you!
/aydal former member of Ekliptika.

I will miss EKP...
Assaulted a POS for the first time with them, waged war against my first alliance (FREGE) with them, and eventually had a great tiem in running battles with Eternal Empire beforem oving onto greener pastures.
I hope all members of the now defunct EKP alliance remember their origins, and all those who flew in 0.0 for the first time as part of EKP, realise that today a great supporter of 0.0 Democracy has fallen.
But onto the future, I wish all Corps surviving this disbandment well and will be contacting those of you of noteable skills/leadership ability.

Dark Justice had just joined EKP a few short weeks before this all happened. EKP was a very fun group to be around. through all the Fights with EE and others, it was always fun. I hope all who have left this Alliance find new homes, and continue to enjoy this wide Galaxy. To all I salute you!

Can't say I am Dissapointed to be honest.
Me and Ekliptika hardly saw eye to eye when I was there and that never changed.
Cool name, unfortunately not a very good alliance.

So sad to see u guys disband, Ive many a fond memory of Ekliptika , Honourable and steadfast in thier beliefs, even though some of the beliefs like open 0.0 space was difficult for me to comprehend and action. Ekliptika took a Pirate infested region of Pure Blind with Frege , working together making it safer for Pod pilots. i think Ekliptika died when thier dream of a larger Alliance 'Sunstorm Dominion' failed for whatever reason , but rather than give up they clung on through triels and tribulations but i believe the end could never be avoided. Ekliptika have been involved in many 'epic' battles with its Northern friends and imo will be remembered by those that have met them fought with them or even against them.
when a Alliance folds its a sad day , when a Alliance folds which u knew well , its sadder. Fly safe EKP pilots where ever your journey takes you.

wierd question,
Would the guys holding the name ever be interested in trading. If so how much, because the name and especially the logo is valuable.

If the 2 dead corps in ekp would come back online. the first person that has the right to keep the name is Babs.

As a former member its really sad to see EKP close its doors.
I had a great time while being a EKP member. It might not have been a PvP powerhouse like some other alliances, but it also never pretended to be one and most importantly: it had a big bunch of great people in it.
EKP, I salute you!

Yeah it'll be nice wiping out Eternal Empire...
Again, my condolences to all EKP pilots without a home, you are always welcome in the ranks of Steel Frontier. Also, to Ilrikus - totally agreed, EKP was no-nonsense, don't pretend the be what you aren't fun. The only downside being that if you let people know that your alliance is not that great in PVP, the wardecs head your way.
Still had a blast, though the FREGE/EKP Sunstorm War was prolly the most fun i had during my stay - some Awesome fights there with friends on both sides of the war. I can only hope I have similar excitement in my future.
Good luck, Fly Safe and Shoot Straight.

I very much enjoyed the little war we had with Ekliptika when I was a part of Frege. Violent, passionate, and close quarters every time. ---

It would probably be impossible to write an objective account of the EKP/FREGE/SDX friendship/alliance/war. There was high drama and intense emotions in that little corner of space which few others knew or cared about.
Of course the passage of time brings great changes. Both EKP and FREGE as they existed at their peak would now gleefully hunt me down and kill me for what I have become.
If they could catch me.
I am quite happy with the change in my circumstances since I left Ekliptika nearly a year ago. The founders of EKP are all prospering today in their new circumstances. FREGE is gone, but its best and most entertaining corporation, StateCorp, is thriving. roBurky, I hope that -V- is giving you the appreciation you deserve.
Rather than being sad for the passing of Ekliptika, I am happy for the time I spent in its ranks and the fellowship I enjoyed with some of the finest pilots ever to fly among the stars. And when I again cross paths with any of them, may the best pilot win.
