Gallente Vengeance Gallente News Network	Posted - 2006.10.28 15:17:00 - [31] Reports from the front line indicate that BOB have pulled an all-nighter and held the system for quite some time. ASCN sources admit they do not have any force to counter attack with at the moment. The battle now shifts to build more momentum as the battlefield seems to change slightly in the favour of BOB. However, it will be very interesting to see where the frontline will be in this conflict. Centrally placed sources says that the frontline will not be anywhere near GQ2, whatever that indicates. I am lead to believe that this is just a first step to take a region that have some nice moon resources, and rumor have, a more important role, after Kali. What seems very diffrent in this encounter is the fact that ASCN seems to have gotten away without loosing any ships, by ASCN standards. However, they seems to have lost some HULK's in core Feythabolis, an isk loss fully comparable to the loss of a dread. Reports have come in, that an emergency shuttle with strippers where sent to AZN to comfort the unlucky carebear. This is Gallente Vengeance, now over to the weather. GNN News that mathers.

And I don't see the idiots at ascn high command being able to do that, if bob plays it cards right it would mean taking huge losses for ascn to try get a fleet up in mp5- lx5- as they are now prolly under siege. GJ for bob. You should know, that ASCN have other ways of moving, than through the use of gates. To get through to any system, they just need a cynofield. I am not in the front lines, but, if BOB stay camping GQ2, how will they take MP5 and LX5? And how, if they take the systems down there, will they reinforce them? Are Paragon Soul really the place BOB want to be? Do BOB want to have 2 'holes in the ground' like MP5 and LX5 is, or will they move for H8, and maybee, the very important system of C9N? No mather what happens, GQ2 are not where the ISK are made for either ASCN or BOB. Will BOB make a run for Stain, and use the NPC stations there are a staging point for further attacks? Will they spend the better of the next 2-5 days camping the systems of MP5 and LX5 so the towers in there run out of fuels? Sean Dillon, whoever you are, do you think ASCN got to be where they are with idiots at HC? Through what I see on forums and on my random runnins with ASCN members, I would say they have a good deal of idiots in they're ranks, and, with 1500 pilots and probably 3500 alts, there are probably quite a few of them. BOB officals have off the record said that they have waited long enough and broken down the ASCN morale enough for this first real attack. Many of BOB members where getting very bored with ASCN's scortched earth tactics and the play for the stallmate. ASCN HighCommand have been using Paragon Soul as a 4 week speedbump to the BOB forces that are now rolling forward. The news here, are NOT that GQ2 are falling. The real news is, it took 4 weeks. Why would BOB go to stain when they just captured a station system? Not to mention it's really easy to attack from a tower. Camping the towers wont make them run out of fuel. They just cyno in a carrier to re fuel the towers.

Chadawahee Amarr Debiloff's Vanguard Combined Planetary Union	Posted - 2006.10.29 11:07:00 - [50] gq2 is an important sys but not a key system, gq2 is more or less an "outpost" for paragon soul residents. mp5 is the key system in paragon soul. the h8- system is the chokepoint for this one. if you control this you can control the (non capital) supply lines for the pocket down south (3ppt, mp5 and lx5k. )dreads and carriers cant jump from period basis to paragon soul directly, the jump is too far, so they have to go around, via stain, estoria. congrats on taking gq2. logistics will get easier for you now if you intend to push into Paragon further.
