Just wondering if I am really unlucky or what ? I did 75 missions for a level 1 agent without any level 2 given yet.
She is an awesome agent (+18%, standing +9%)
The corp is Aliastra, they have plenty of level 2 and 3 agents (and some 4 and 5 listed).
I have 11 cha and level 3 social.
She did give me 2 other level 1's, but they were not as good as her, so I stuck with her - she is not my starting agent.
Should I keep going or change horse ?

Keep going... took a long time with my level 1 and level 2 Agents as well to get an upgrade.

It took me 111 missions with one failure (very early on) to get my lev 2 agent. Took me 73 (3 failures)missions with a lev 2 agent to get a lev 3 agent

Agents reffer you to a max of 4 other agents. I had one agent that gave three level 1s and then finally a level 2 on the fourth time. This was by the time I had done 35 missions total.
On the other hand some agents gave me a level 1 at 12-15 and a another agent at around 25 that soemtimes were level 2. Then I have agents that I have 25 or so missions for that still have not given any refferals.
Agents seem to have a random stubborness to them. I think if you hit 20 missions without a single refferal you have run across a stubborn agent. I have a couple of those agents. Faction and corporation standings does not matter. if they are stubborn, they going to be stubborn.
I am not positive that the stubborness is random or it is a permanent thing with the agent that affects any player using it. However I may be able to find out if my corp mate remembers using the agent I am currently using. He found a pair of level 2s at same station, so I took his info for the docking agent to the corporation and proceded to work for that agent. Hopefully I can find out from him and maybe shed more light on the subject.
I have a feeling that stubborness might be associated with "dud" agents. If he tells me he had problems geting refferals as well it can prove that theory because my charisma, social and standings are higher than his. If this is the case maybe we can start a "dud agent list" and an "awesome agent list" so people can spend time using better agents.
So far I have been keeping a list on each agent of which mission number reffered another agent and level given. However unfortunately I lacked foresight andI did not keep of who they reffered me to because I assumed who was random.

damn i must have been lucky i got my level 2 in just 27 missions and i only had charsma of 6 my agent was (agent+19%, standing +5%) i was really lucky i guess
