Kobayashi Maru is a new corp based in Molden Heath, currently looking to recruit another 5 people who share our outlook and enthusiasm.
Team play is very important to us and we have a corp mantra of "we move as one". We're all based around the same system in Molden Heath so that we can get ops up and running quickly. These ops could be group missions, mining or PvP. It doesn't matter how much PvP experience you have as long as you're willing to participate. We don't do the pirate thing but are happy to receive applications from those who fancy a change.
0.0 is, of course a goal for this corp and we have a number of friends from our previous projects.
For the moment most members are based around GMT but we're happy to take people from wherever. The attitude is the important part.
In return you'll get an organised corp run by people who've run corporations, both in Empire and 0.0 and have (hopefully) learnt from their mistakes as well as their success.
Basic requirements are:
1 million skillpoints or greater although exceptions will be made for those with the right attitude.
Group focused although there will be time to do your own thing.
Teamspeak - Listen only in most cases

You can stop by our public channel "cwd" if you'd like to know more. Oh, and if you're wondering about the corp name under my char we're waiting for the new name to make it's way through the petition system.

I would consider changing the red name on the grey backround on the banner.
Aside from that I can only recommend these guys. I am in a channel with them and sfoar we had some nice talks. If you are into their range of activity then give them a try

Hey Im a 1.7 mil guy here and was woundering if your offer still stands.
I mostly play weekends (not always) and after work. but I like a more exciting style of game play (though havent experianced much of that side of eve yet. mining and mission running is a bit to repeatative for me.) I hear pvp is where its at, so I'd like to try it out if you have the will to teach it. |

i would suggest you say low sec piracy is not encouraged or discouraged to encourage more people. but if you dont like piracy fair enough.
its difficult though to state how low sec piracy is different from attacking anyone in 0.0.

That's a very good point. Personally I don't have a problem with others pirating although it not a style of play I'm comfortable with. I much prefer to shoot at people who I know are willing to engage and accept that the area they're currently in has no rules.
Low Sec is a grey area for me and I think your comment has highlighted that. I accept that there's a little popup (is it still there?) that warns people you could be attacked but, for a reason I can't adequately explain, shooting just anyone in low sec doesn't sit right with me. I would attack pirates because they're happy to accept the chance of combat. Anyone else? Unless they fired first or for some other valid reason such as war then no.
Logically there's probably some holes in my reasoning but to me it's currently the right way to do it and I have to be true to myself. I should probably re-word the line you were refering to though.
The other issue stems from some of the "Pirate Hunter" groups where by association you're labelled as a pirate even if you've never pirated in eve. I have some members who simply aren't interested in piracy and I need to keep their styles of play in mind, which is why I need to be cautious in Empire.

Q) Where are you currently based?
A) Currently Moving back to Rens b/c I missed my Minmitar bretheren.
Q) Is this your main character in eve?
A) Affirmative.
Q) How long have you played eve for and how many skillpoints does this character have?
A) Character is technically 11 months old, I've only played for about 2 or 3 of those though. 3.3 million skill points.
Q) Do you have more than one eve account and if so would they be joining Love and Rockets as well?
A) Negative.
Q) If answering yes to the above question then how may skillpoints for this character?
A) N/A.
Q) During what hours (using Eve time) do you tend to play Eve during the week and weekend?
A) Play time is rather random, and changes with my class and work schedule. I'm in GMT -5, so that is the only possible drawback. However, If possible I'd like to join and see how it works out timewise rather than try to guess. As I said I tend to be on at random times at any point in the day/night.
Q) What is your pvp experience in eve?
A) Non-existent
Q) Any special skills in pvp? (i.e. T2 weapons/ships)
A) T2 Frigates (minmitar), currently working on supplimentary combat skills before bringing it into anything terribly dangerous.
Q) Any special industrial skills?
A) No production ability at all. I can do some light hauling if neccessary though (mammoth, 9900 m3)
Q) Do you own any T2 BPOÆs and would you be willing to sell to the corp at cost?
A) Negative
Q) What do you enjoy doing most in eve?
A) A bit of everything really, right now I'm enjoying buzzing around in frigates running missions and ratting. I've not really tried any pvp or heavy mining ops, but I'm more than willing to give it a go. I guess I'm not to big on production, as that takes to much skill training outside of what I'm currently into.
Q) Why do you want to join Love and Rockets and what are your expectations of us?
A) I'm looking for a Minmitar based (or close by) corp that does a bit of everything without the 'spartan' attitude that alot of corps seem to have.
