well one problem I see with not having a face is...
some MIGHTIER-THAN-THOU-MOTHER folks on the forum belittle you as an alt/whatever/he doesnt even have a pic...
Been here 6 months now....I want my creepy looking mug on the forum!

Looks like they stopped giving faces about 10 months ago. They can't even do it for the GMs :D I guess they have *very* limited worker amount there, and the codeslave is whipped just to keep the server together, and addressing anything else is out of the question. (!s, my character, sisi, etc.)

I wonder if they started at one point, and then stopped?

This is actually something that has been a priority of late. Without going into details, it's something we're working on rather strongly, but Revelations has been the focus around here!
Anyway, the portrait rendering had to be ported to the Kali branch of the code, and that's done - but won't be released until Wednesday. At that point we have to setup replication between the rendering servers, and we should be good to go.
So - with luck, it will be done soon. I don't want to give a particular timeframe, as this does depend a bunch on operations to setup replication, t20 to make sure rendering works, and me to, well, make sure to kick people...
But, yeah. This is something that a lot of people are really making noise about within CCP, so, we've not forgotten!
