Edited by: Prefontaine on 05/11/2003 19:11:49 Hello, If you haven't read the News yet, please do so!
I am enraged by the methods used by Sukuuvestaa Corporation! I knew that we couldn't trust them. They are poisoning us with Sewage & Biomass "Delicacies". How could the health organizations approve this disgusting product? Surely the Caldari government was using bribery. This shows that the Caldari are politically and economically underdeveloped because they need to resort to unjust methods when trying to gain market share.
I sincerely hope that Sukuuvestaa and the Caldari government are held responsible for their appalling acts.

The answer is fairly simple monsieur Prefontaine ... any one who has the desire to register a complaint should take direct action ... find a Sukuuvestaa station, wait for a convoy (be sure to hold fire till the 55km from station mark) and then record your stern condemnation for this Caldari corporate plot with an frank exchange of views nicely wrapped around destructive ordinance and high grade military firepower.
If concerned citizens choose to blow the living crap out of Sukuuvestaa corporate assets tonight ... it will doubtless bring the Gallente Federation's considered motion of stern reproof to the attention of their board.

... Shouldn't the 'concerned citizens' express this sort of stern reproof towards their own officials rather, seeing how eager they were to accept such a dubious deal... O.o

And you don't think the Gallente government officials that helped this deal go through have shares in Sukuuvestaa m'dear?

"And you don't think the Gallente government officials that helped this deal go through have shares in Sukuuvestaa m'dear?"
Well, given they had to realize this situation would cause major stink sooner or later, they'd have to be really dumb to do it for shares of the very company which was going to suffer from the blowout-

Please let it be that this is an evil plot by the Caldari government and please let it trigger the second Caldari-Gallente war.
Together with the much desired war between the Minmatar and the Amarr, led by Sarum (by it by a coup or by it by a civil war) this will bring some good fun to the game.

I don't think this has been covered before (i'm usually wrong on these forums ).
But wouldn't it be cool to try and take out the station? Obviously you'd need to have some damage soakers in the mix, but that would be a helluva story!

"Soylent Green is made out of people.... you gotta tell 'em! Soylent Green is people!!!" (Charlton Heston, Soylent Green 1973)
The film takes place in a dystopian, overpolluted and -populated near future where all natural foods have run out, and everybody eats Soylent products, supposedly made out of plankton etc. Charlton Heston infiltrates a heavily guarded Soylent Green factory where the popular foodstuff is produced and discovers the ugly truth.
Sound familiar?

Ok, great, the cat is out of the bag.
Its not like anyone is suprised...
So why did it happen this way?
Wouldnt it have been alot more fun if quafe agents had started giving out missions to try to find out, stuff like "go to Sukuuvestaa corp factory in so and so system and meet with Mr so and so who has information and bring it back"
Or "Our inteligence has found out the travel route for a Sukuuvestaa convoy suposedly carrying the raw materials for protine delicacy, your job is to go to the bookmark, destroy the convoy and its guards and bring back samles of the components"
Even the producers could have missions to deal with the issue.
But no, a great opportunity of alowing players to get involved is lost and what do we have...
Well on the plus side they have forcefed us an excuse to possibly start a war.
Yay!
Please CCP, let us get involved, I want to and I constantly see posts that blatantly show a large number of players want to help pushing the story forward.
Dont let stuff happen over our heads.
Imaging going on one of those missions and bring back sulfiric acid, biomass, garbage and turn it in for the reward and then read this new post :)
now that would be fun.

Live content is extremely expensive to do and I bet CCP is already sitting on their pennies as it is.
This little soylent green mystery lasted too short to actually implement agent missions for.

It wouldnt be too late for CCP to add some Biomass delivery missions for Sukuuvesta agents (and high rewards too)
or maybe they've already added these?

It was re-released on DVD recently, so I bought it .. still a great film like i remember it, although i didn't realise until the re-screening that 'carboard-cutout Charlton Heston' was the pre-cursor to the acting style of Keanu Reeves. | Join eve-webring.com to promote your site. |

As long as there isn't "murder" being committed and it tastes good, who cares?!
Natures way is putting a seed in the ground, sprinkling sh*t on it for fertilizer, then waiting for it to grow out of the ground.
How is that different than the "man made" process?
Both ways are recycling resources.
Come on people, get over yourselves.
