A fierce battle is raging... Your down to your last POS.. your titan is within...
400 hostiles await your bubble to collapse as its failing now..
your bubble collapses.... your titan is shot to pieces...
the simple fact is... it doesnt matter, with the servers the way they are.. if someone had enough people to lock a titan down in a system... i guarantee you could get it back because of "lag" or the node crashes or whatever word suits your fancy that day...

50% of people would find out 7 weeks later that "Our logs show nothing"
It depends which 50% you reside in as to the outcome of a situation like that.

it does totally suck when u lose a ship due to something ccp related they dont replace the mods that wernt destroyed got my arazu replaced the other day but didnt get my covert op cloak back with that tho  so lame that ive gota pay for summin that was out of my hands.

Why wouldn't the Titan just jump out? Doesn't have enough fuel? Jump a carrier in, fill up, get out. Heck, use the superweapon as a parting gesture.
Oh wait, maybe it could get stuck in a jump queue 
But really, the only way that a Titan will go down is either from negligence or the pilot and alliance leaders not considering all their options.

Ya you can, it says immune to EW but that just means jamming or at least it acts that way on the test server, which in that case means it can't jump out of the system either.
In the end though I would think just putting it in a SS like 600 AU out in a random system would be the best bet if you came down to one last POS.
