New hardware will get shipped faster...
Coding done properly...
implimentation done flawlessly...
And now back to the real world..
Eve is topped... hell above topped right now.. The servers cant handle the load... And everyone knows this including the guys at CCP.
The problem is.. they dont have an instant fix. there is no I win button for eve.. Sure they could throw down 100 new blade servers.. but I guarantee somthing else will bottleneck...
Serious consideration needs to be taken for possible lag solutions..
From new hardware.. to new code.. to Removing code?.. DAtabase maintence? bookmarks?
The thing is.. WE the paying customers need to voice our opinions daily.. Keep the pressure on..
its the only way..

Hey, you try sitting at the logging on screen for hours, crashing nodes several times. And then talk to him about lag. I can't *** play. No one in my constellation can. For hours.

the problem is more hardware is not the solution. Only a small band aid that won't affect fleet warfare at all. The weekly load balencing needs to become dynamic load balencing.

Even if you do get to log in the game remains unplayable.
Gates are offline , undocking takes 15 minutes. heck even opening a market screen or hangar takes ages. modules dont activate , weapons dont fire.
And thats just in quiet region , 5 people in local !
I've been playing EVE for almost a year now and notice the lag gets worse and worse. Specially during the weekends and the worst during prime time on sunday's.
Records keep getting broken, the playerbase keeps increasing and the game becomes and less playable.
Finally there are some hardware upgrades on the way , but in my opionon they are about 9 months overdue and it will only be a patch for the nosebleed for a short time.
The game , the scripting , the code , the hardware, everything, the whole mechanics and infrastructure isn't designed to hold more then 15k-20k users online at most.

Did I say anything about it solving all the woes of the game?
No.
A bit of pre-emptive whining is stupid at this point. Wait 4 whole days and we can see the results of the changes.
