In preparation for the world wide release of CCP Games' new Collectible Card Game (CCG), the official CCG website has been redesigned and is now open.
Turn your browser to EVE: The Second Genesis and take a look at what the site has to offer.
Included in the redesigned site are:
News and articles pertaining to the exciting new CCG, A sortable card list, Art Gallery, CCG related forums, Events and Tournament information, and much, much more!
What are you waiting for? Pull out your cards, grab your rule book and surf on over. You won't be disappointed.

I just noticed that there are a lot of different people that drew some of the different pictures but I only know the gallery for Asgeir. You wouldn't happen to know the URLs for the galleries of the other artists, would you? ___________________

Artwork is good!
-------------------- SoonÖ Copyright CCP. I don't pay money to play this game, I pay to see how badly CCP screw it up. |

Some places are already starting to sell the CCG. I saw and picked up the Amarr/Mimmater prebuilt deck at a B&N by chance. The game feels like a lighter version of the old Star Wars CCG, which is cool. Played a few games with a friend swapping the decks and we both agreed that the Amarr deck of that set was the weaker of the two. Maybe that's CCP trying to keep the decks as close to the game as possible.

Now that the site is up, when can we expect the booster packs to be back up on the eve store, or are they even going to be??
Cheers

WTF!
The cards dont interfer with the game in any way you d**k!! This is probably the worse explain of craptastic smack i have ever seen. Why dont you go over to the WoW forums and troll away there. As for the game being fixed, thats exactly whats going on. Kali is in testing to iron out the bugs then it wil be applied to Tranq. Kali contains alot of the fixes so why waste your time coming on here with mindless whines, and to make it worse.....this area doesnt concern the actual game! The only thing i dislike about eve is having to put up with fools like you...

I need a macro that says the following:
CCP is not all developers, bug fixers and hardware guys. They have other people working for them as well that can't touch the code to fix the lag. They are working on the lag with the manpower they have. They are working on programming and code fixes with the manpower they have. They area also using other members of CCP to expand CCPs money making machine so that they have more money to hire guys to fix the lag.
Easy huh? ---

The timelines and Backstory section of that site are VERY well done. Excellent layout and reading. The Art Gallery is just...
I'll probably buy the cards mainly for the artwork and because EVE is the one vice I actually indulge in...
Question - Is there any chance of some of the artwork from these cards ever being made available or sold for download, or possibly sold in a larger print format? -

The art gallery is awesome, but most of what is on the backstory site - including the timelines - is copy and pasted from this website's backstory section, specifically the race information. The chronicle links even lead to the EVE Online website.
That said, seeing a certain Gallente chron featured prominently makes me smile and giggle uncontrollably.

I'm not CCP, but I'd personally doubt it. They'd want to have another reason to buy the cards - if you like Teh Pikturz, buy the cards.
That said (again), there is now no way CCP can claim to not have enough concept and miscellaneous art material for at least one nice, thick artbook. I'd buy one. --- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?...

Blah, blah, blah......this has it's own forum. Please move it!
If CCG forum isn't gonna be used, please turn it into a GTC and Char sales forum.

No retailers in The Netherlands yet. I hope that The American Bookstore in Amsterdam will sell these cards sometime in the future, but that's just wishful thinking

Starter kits, boosters and booster display boxes will be available in the EVE Store by the end of the week.
