oops blank lol,
so what's the idea behind this, almost all introductory tourneys i have ever been to, and that's quiet a lot use a limited format, since well in this case 10 days to get you stuf together with some players obviously having an advatage because they already have cards. I'm just not following.
Actually i have never been to an introductory tourney that was constructed now i think about it.
so what gives ?

Are you talking about the constructed tournament at Fan Fest? I agree that you don't have a lot of time to prepare a deck, but we will be selling cards at the event. If nothing else, you can always put a deck together while you're there. What really led us to decide on a constructed format, though, were the prizes. We're giving out some pretty hefty swag, and we wanted to reward those players who hit the ground running, rather than forcing everyone to leave their decks behind and play with the starters.

yup what i meant lol, mostly asked because it appears from these forums that some people have had access to the cards for a while already. While other will prob be getting them only just before or at the fanfest giving them much less time to prepare decks. I always enjoy limited competitions because it levels the playing field so to speak.
but this was just a question which has been answered now :)..

Check out the CCG forums over on the official site, if you're still interested in events at Fan Fest. While there's only the one official tourney, I'm sure there will be plenty of impromptu games, many with devs eager for fresh meat, er--opponents.
