You know what I'm goin to say now donŠt you? I mean, I've said basicly the same thing every monday for five months now. But ok, maybe there's a newbie out there who haven't heard it yet.
Eve Tribune issue #21 is out and in this issue we have some anger management, we talk to Xeserox about Eve Underground Radio, and we check in on the war in the south.

Personally I think it shows up the level of "journalism" on display for what it is. The editorial looked like it should have been attributed to an alt on the C&A forum board. |

It is angry yes, and it is not journalism with any pretence to being politically and intellectually correct or something nasty like that.
However, the content of that editorial is correct and totally deserved by the way in which ASCN's primary diplomatic contact has been behaving himself. The publicised interview was an affront, the 'retort' to the tribune on the corp discussion forums was laughably inappropriate and full of more lies and holes, and hsi general mode of conduct has been deserving of nothign but scorn.
Let's say that he deserved every bit of it, and if you feel that that unfairly implicates the rest of ASCN then you should come to terms with being held responsibel for the actions of your leadership as logn as you are in ascn.

I'd have to go back and refresh my memory on John's rebuttal, but I can't remember anything in it that deserved the childish insults in the editorial (picking entirely on that, as the week 4 war report isn't too bad.)
Can't remember there being too much that I disagreed with either in John's rebuttal, so quite happy to be assosciated with it, as long as the tribune don't start referring to me as PeePeeBear or similar as that would make me sad  |

Nothing wrong with a bit of aggressive editorial, although it does put the Tribune more in the Piers Morgan News Of The World realm rather than Robert Thomson of The Times.
I've left a bit of amusing feedback for you in your forum thread on this edition, do feel free to quote it next week

I actually hadn't read much of EVE Tribune until last night. I spent about two and a half hours going back to the first issue and catching up. You guys do some excellent work! Keep it up!
