When I try to enter the game the client is trying to get me to start over from scratch with the character editor. How can I get it to skip this step? Note: this is a full install on a new system, as I was inactive for awhile. |

Any news on this? I've got the exact same issue with this character (although not one of the others on this account). I filed a petition about it 5 days ago but haven't had a response yet... |

Come on guys. I can't use this character without redoing his customisation from scratch (and the same applies to another character on this account at the moment); something that I really don't want to have to do. It's been 6 days since I petitioned this problem and it's an issue which is essentially preventing me from logging in with 2 out of 3 characters. It's been 3 days since someone else who is having the same problem posted this thread. I don't mean to be impatient but is some kind of response really too much to ask? Seriously? Either here or to the petition would do  |

And now it's been a week and I just re-subbed my other account under the latest offer and, lo and behold, it has exactly the same problem! A week with no response is extremely poor customer service CCP. Extremely poor. |

As far as I know, when Incarna came out (I think it was Incarna) everyone had to reenter the character customization, basically you had to edit your character again.
Maybe you've had your account inactive since before that? |

Thing is my main didn't need redoing from scratch. I just logged in, it went to the customisation screen and he was as before, I hit next and the pose was as before so I just retook the picture and bam, 20 seconds max to get back into the game. For every other character it's trying to get me to start from scratch, which I really do not want to be doing. If it is the case that I am going to have to do so I will a) not be at all impressed and b) would appreciate it if someone at CCP would actually tell me so I can stop holding out hope that it won't be needed. It's more the complete lack of response for a week (so far) that's getting me annoyed than the issue itself. |

I just returned to the game and im having the exact same issue. My main account doesn't need to be recustomized but im being forced into it with this account. Im perfectly happy with my avatar and don't want to lose it :( |

Same problem here. I have just returned, and I'm forced to recreate my portrait.. but I am happy with mine and there's no way to skip this..
I have sent out a petition, but no one answered it yet.
can someone from CCP, a GM or a dev help us with this issue? |

Same problem for me.
I took a break from Eve. Now I'm back and I'm being forced to recreate each of my characters. I did all this 2 or 3 times already after the new character creation when Live. I'm pretty happy with the way my alts look now. I just want to be able to skip the process. |

Unless this was a backend change the Client patch 3 which would have fixed it might have been wrapped up in 1.0.3 due maybe Tuesday? |
