I have a Geforce 4 Ti 4600 using both the Digital and Analog dual head to two monitors.
I have the 44.03 Detonators using nView to show both monitors.
When I attempt to go 1280x1024, 2 monitors - Fullscreen it instead goes down to 320x240.
What I'm expecting is to see Eve across both screens with my ship floating on one side. Is this what I should expect to see in multi-monitor? Am I doing something wrong to set it up?

This is how I got it to work:
You need to activate horizontal span on your multi-monitor settings, wich can be pretty tricky with some of the newer drivers(check http://siogeowall.ucsd.edu/faq/display.shtml for a how-to). then after that the in-game multimonitor settings will work. But... and thats a big BUT, what they do is just multiply your horizontal resolution to the number of monitors.... You still will get your ship and hud split right in the middle if you have 2 monitors.... 3 monitors get all the fun as always while 2 monitors are worse than 1.
I sure hope they add real support for 2 monitors... For me it could just be a black screen on my secondary monitor were I could dump all my windows(chat, cargohold etc...) and I would be very happy.

Isn't 1280x1024 a non supported resolution? have you tried 1600x1200? or any other resolution, come to think of it...

Thanks! That was exactly it! I've been trying for days to get all the games that swear they work multi-M to work. I kept seing the "span" image, but this site is the first to say how to get it. I always had both monitors on.
