Kali testing will be suspended for a 48 hour time period as Singularity is undergoing a hardware swap. The hardware slated for tomorrow's Tranquility upgrade has been 'burning in' on Sisi and will migrate over. New hardware will be added to Singularity after the migration to Tranquility and a new build of Kali will be available when Singularity returns Thursday evening.
We apologize for the delay in testing, this will not have an effect on the Kali deployment date.

O well, no SISI to play on while TQ is down, who do I blame?
Tux rightly noted that blaming him is slightly passe`, everyone does it these days... 
Also: 1st \o/
Oh and does this mean SISI will have more, less or the same amount of Yarrdware on Thursday?

They are adding 10 new nodes tomorrow, and there are more to come. Read the blog on it. :)

Sad thing that the new "Yarrdware" won't help much since it's really needed to make warfare in the new regions possible..

i doubt 8 new regions require a total of 60+ nodes, Oveur said they were gonna add over 60 new nodes to the TQ cluster

Once the whole Yarrdware order will have arrived, TQ's power will have increased by like, 50%?
So yes, it will make a difference, its just that IBM cant churn them out fast enough to cope with the crazy icelanders.

I've read it twice, doesn't mention a release date to Kali.

Last release date was end of november, but i¦m very sure, that it will be delayed even more. At the moment I¦m expecting a release in january 2007.

In the blog about the hardware upgrade, it was mentioned that there will be another upgrade in mid or late november, and after that is finished they will release Kali.
So figure its released on TQ after thanksgiving, and hopefully stable before christmas.

No. The current mirror is less than 1 month old. Therefore a new mirror isn't even being considered.

Aww man, it told me that my account was deactivated at user's request when i tried to get on Sisi, I guessed it was because i reactivated my subscription about the 20th or so of October so it registered my account as deactivated. I can't go on Sisi

sisi was due up tonight, an update would be nice.. ie: we're still working on it.. sorry not till tomorrow ect.
Side note it does scare me that the inability to test Kali will not affect it's release date! Personally I want something that has a lot of the bugs ironed out when it's released :) Please pull a Blizzard not a SOE if you have to.

Sisi is kind of up again (restricted access), but with the current TQ-patch to test a hotfix.
