We should have a party in Yulai. EVE radio could see how many songs they can play before we get stuck.

Even better, we could play musical chairs in space - we all mass in yulai, and when eve radio stops playing, we all have to dock. Last person to dock is out...

Server numbers seem to have been in a very slow decline as compared to some dire predictions...
...but I suppose now the question is how many of those enthusiasts who bought 6 month accounts at the launch will renew them.
It seems that this last week there has been significantly fewer people on at peak times  and this is reflected in the EVE-i stats...
EVE really do need to step up the marketing or by the time all these wonderful features go in I will be playing on my own

ccp is wise not to push marketing now. with an o_O eye on us all, in the current state, we aren't going down in flames. many *very* marketable things are coming Soon(tm), and SSI has evaporated. Don't market something you haven't got the means to distribute! People get annoyed with that sorta thing fast.
They *still* remain the only spaceship mmog proper. FFXI and all that - you're thinking of the MMOG market in general, but really EVERY game is a niche game, heh. I know people that *gasp* hate everything FF and wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot buster sword...
yes, i still miss my little Mankind corner of the universe, or rather cube to be accurate. if only i could mash the two together...
personally i'd solve first the distributor issue, then TLII, before the marketing blitz. Getting people hooked on II and bringing them in with III and stations and things as incoming would be ideal. just as the new folk get used to the game, it will expand monumentally...
oh, and don't underestimate the power of the patch! Remember that EQ requires you to BUY their silly expansions for content. To get to where your long-time playing friends are, buy EQ and like what, 4-6 addonds? Nice scam there, huh?

I've been in EVE since day 2 of the release in United States. I would like to congratulate everyone that stayed here since the beginning and enjoyed the game as much as I did. This is truely a "second life". CCP, gimmeh my beer or ill pod j00!!!!!!!
