I am assuming there is no way as I have looked and not found it but.. is there a way to remove dormant players from the corporation? They affect the standings and many alliances charge by the members.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sorry, I've never been a CEO or director but isn't it possible to kick them?
I know you can't kick if they are not docked but otherwise it should be possible.

and if the question is more along the lines of getting info.. such as "is that guy really dormant or does he log on every day right after I leave for work.." word is that there is info reads for CEO and directors (with proper rights) to see when members last logged on and information like that.
no system like that yet ingame here on tranq'

One thing you can do, is send a corp mail asking everyone to reply. If they dont "KICK!".
Personally I will send them an email (the one they registered on our forums). If no reply I remove their role and send them an evemail. Then its a kick.....
This usually takes 3 weeks, so it should avoid people on holiday. ------

send a corp message to get people to respond if they are active, give them a week then remove roles then send them a message saying they cam come back later etc. then kick them
sort of thing

This is a common problem, if you are in no rush, just wait for Kali.
Then anyone who has not being active for 2 weeks you can "kick" them out.
If you need it in a hurry, do the mass mail thing. -----------

Also when kicking excersise a bit of judgement how usefull to the corp were they when they were active. If the answer is very usefull then give them that extra bit of grace period.
Any player thats been inactive more than a couple of months has to be considered for a kick though.
Evemail to Corp asking everyone to reply. Make sure you give a reply by date Remove roles on day after reply by date. give em another week then fire them.

wow.. I have to say soe actually did 1 thing right with Planetside. In it the Outfit( the corp in that game) has roster. On that roster it shows the name, how many points they have earned since being in the corp, their rank and the last day they logged in.
In that game we have a few guys we wont kick simply becuase they are oldschool even if we all know they arent coming back. However the newer players will get kicked if they have been inactive for 2+months,no record of resubbing the game and taking breaks , as well as having a low rank.
That avoids any possiblity of me kicking a guy that changed jobs and now has a different shift, forcing him to play early in the day. Its just a matter of WHEN does he play which can be resolved with in game mail, not that planetside has ingame mail but if it was done in eve.

For those who don't know what people are talking about - in Kali there is a new corporation management tab that lets you see all members of the corp, when they last logged on, what system they are in and what ship they are flying.
