Please share some insights. How would you set up a ship to earn ISK by NPCing while (mostly) AFK and with minimal risk?
For example:
- Domi with passive shield tank and MWD, all CPR's in the lows and 5 heavy drones out, orbiting a roid at 50km or so (possible loss: insurance cost and a couple of drones)
- Inty with MWD on permanently, orbiting something, but with 5 fighter drones from your carrier at a POS (possible loss: fighter drones ...)
Does anyone do something like this? I find NPCing extremely boring and have to AFK a lot because of work ;-). It's probably not worth it, but still better than AFK mining (if you want to avoid macroing, like I do).

Domi is probably best bet,Just fit a 2x large rep tank, 3 hardeners and all the rest cap mods
Will run forever and tank anything (probably including commander spawns) Dont try and tank angels tho 
Sit in the belt wait for spawn and send your drones, come back later and scoop your drones - repeat
Leaving your drones out and letting them kill the NPC's by themslves is illadvisable as the drones will quickly die to NPC frig fire

Isn't it sad how NPCers are looking for a challenge and PVPers are looking for easy kills? (AFK if possible) ;-)

But the drones do shoot back - or do you think they won't because they'll be out of activation range? (not a problem with Fighters due to the bonus, other drones might need DLAs)

Take a carrier, fit 5 remote shield transfers, launch 5 t2 berserkers, remote tank them and go afk in angel region
Remove flashes from capital torps.

Funny idea, but I'm not *that* rich yet. Also, I'm doomed to stay in Serpentis space ...

If your drones our out, they will get aggro sometimes.
Even a heavy ogre 2 can't tank a NPC battleship or battlecruiser for more than a few hits.

I know, but most of the time (or always?) they will attack the NPC that aggressed them, so they will go into orbit and be safe. I'll just have to try it a couple of times, I guess.
