Can anyone explain: why does everyone hate Band of Brothers? I've been reading and reading and reading through the threads lately. Band of brothers seems to have no friends, yet they stand strong. Not many like those that punch you in the face and point out your short-comings to everyone in public. People suck up to everyone of the large alliances - and it doesn't even seem that BOB is the biggest, they're just good at what they do - and they're not alone or anything like that. So there's all this hating and finger pointing going on, but at the end of the day, the finger pointers should be pointing their fingers right back at themselves.

Those who are true enemies to entities such as BoB, love to dislike them, thus they actually love them. If BoB were truely hated by most in Eve, they would actually be wardecced by most of Eve citizens - which they don't. On the other end, BoB don't hate anybody either I reckon - since I guess as a BoB member here said; we love to shoot. Thus they love their targets. Summa summarum: PVP is about loving people, not hatred. Hope OP finds this useful.

BoB, because a vocal minority of their forum crowd have unfortunately given them a bad rep by acting like obnoxious, arrogant kids who have no sportsmanship and no respect for anyone. Most other entities in the game do not seem to have as many members that act like this (what some might describe as a forum blob) and are therefore not as disliked. I don't think it actually has much to do with their actions in game just the unfortunate attitude dysfunction. I'm sure the majority of them are nice people though. ----------------- Victory or death! ... knitting is also an option.

If have been a BoB hater and now a BoB lover and I am qualified to say why people hate us and the reason people hate BoB is because they won't open there eyes to the truth. What is the truth you ask, well they all know what it is but they let the forums change there views but the facts are simple. I am not going to be so rude as to tell people what thy are thinking or feeling. What I will say is that every force requires a counter force. Where there is wind there needs to be fire. Where there is pleasure there has to be pain. Where there is good there has to be bad. You can decide what roles BoB plays in EVE but think to your self, who whould you hate without the likes of BoB or Burn Eden. I awate this been discredited by some BoB hater with a simple one liner and to save me having to post again. Get over your self. Try again!

BOB are hat...disliked (hate is a powerfull word thats overused & rarely meant imo) because ingame theyre one of the best & most dedicated at what they do; & on the forums they dont shut up about it. They also, it has to be said, at some point in their history annoyed (as in attacked, be it just roaming gangs or serious assault) most 0.0 alliances out there. Simularly, RA appear disliked by much of the EVEverse. Simularly theyre dedicated to playing the game. The only difference is, if true, RA use dirty tricks ingame, BOB keep theirs to the forums (not meant to be a flame, more of a compliment. But will retract if attracts too much heat)

Long story short Evol came north to beat up PA who had **ed off all their neighbors and started a big fur ball then shortly after Evol comes up PA naps CA and then things turn in GNW truely. The top pvp corps from the north end up kickin' it in BKG, after a few months of chips and beer,PA is under the table in a coma,BoB is formed from all the top northern corps that kicked it in BKG ((BNC,RKK and Leigon of the Dmaned)) and what was called m0ovolution,which was m0o and Evol. The wildcard was ATUK who were friends with m0o dating back to when m0o was in CA ((thats another story better told by them)) they came up for a breif period too,and then shortly after all of PAs' old neighbors decide to pull out of the war and I quote my former CEO at the time " Let them kill eachother off" instead of staying the course.((Said it then will say it again BAD MOVE)) there were some new alliances formed in Dek,fade and Tribute,then they got jumpy **ed Blacklight off and well crude hit the fan every alliance got massacred and BoB left to pillage Fountain 3 weeks later. Also another reason ppl don't like BoB is the fact they do these annual 3-4 week feild trips into some random alliances space and pretty much bend them over a desk and have their way with them ((CA,IMP,IRON,FIX,SA,TPS)). personally im pretty ambivelent to them these days since I rediscovered the miraculous affects of beer. And yes that was the short version.

Personally, i thought with the whole ASCN thing, they had perhaps bit off more than they could chew, seeing as Goons were rebuilding in Empire and building back up. But then goons went off and started working with RA. If the goons had turned around and struck out at BOB, whilst BOB faced the other BLOB entity in Eve (ASCN) they would have been heading towards a downfall.
