FT Cold The Scope Gallente Federation 16	Posted - 2015.04.25 19:23:22 - [1] - Quote I agree with the OP on most points, though I'd like to see the cyclone get an application bonus instead of another projection bonus. These changes would give players a great choice between ships that can hold ground well in a fight, or ones that can control the flow of the grid, pretty similarly to the dynamic, as the OP mentioned, between destroyers and frigates. It would also help to make battleships more relevant, but I still think that CCP needs to address battleships separately. They're good in a few cases, particularly drone nulls and RHML hulls, but overall the t1 lineup and even a couple of the faction hulls are pretty underwhelming.

HMs are finally getting buffed too. :O Not sure that 5% damage will be enough to save them, but the added application modules will make it easier to run HAMs and torps. Will need to see how the modules shake out and what they do to the CBCs and faction BCs. Hopefully they don't make for a return of the age of drake. Hey, at least they're willing to take a first step and recognize that CBCs and HMs aren't in a great spot.
