I can't take 0.0 BS rats... I'm in an armageddon, and i can't even take double BS spawns. What's wrong with me? Here's my setup..
Highs: Mega modulated pulse laser X7
Med slots: Best named cap recharger 2, Web X1
Lowslots:
Energized adaptive nano plates I X2
Kinetic energized X1
Thermal energized X1
Explosive energized X1
Emergency damage control I X1
Best named heat sink X1
large best named cap recharger X1
Resists are:
61 Explosive / 64 thermal / 68 kinetic / 77 EM
I'm going up against Angel generals and Angel saints.

that's the problem.
angels have very high resists vs thermal and EM

Lasers are terrible Vs Angels and you will need more of a tank than just 1 rep.

Yeah, lasers just don't burn down Angels fast enough. I used autocannons on my geddon  when I first started ratting them.
Then I trained the bare bones skills for a Raven and pwned all day long  And by bare bones, I mean Cruise missles 3, necessary shield skills at 3 or less, Caldari BS 3, etc. Support skills were all high, Electronics 5, Engineering 5, etc. It really is ridiculously easy to rat in a Raven.

Don't have any caldari skills except light missles V and frig V, nor any autocannons, purely amarr spec'd.

Despite your crappy damage with lasers against angels, you honestly should be able to take them. My suggestion would be: Fit a large armor repairer

Heh hitting wrecking hits of 9 eh?
Anyways id suggest moving your ratting base to amarr space,but before doing so uber tank em/therm and some of everything else just in case a pirate shows up.

Simple fact is it's nearly impossible to rat angels in a laser-using ship. I'm sure some people do it but it's waaaay too hard for me and many others.
Start training projectiles. Large autocannons on the Geddon/Apoc work.
EDIT: oh and on the Geddon a full set of Explosive heavy drones is also beneficial to your DPS.

If you truly only have 3 million SP's, you should not be trying to fly a geddon vs. angels at all. A battlecruiser is more inline with your skill points. Doubt that an AC Prophecy can take the big angels though, not in a reasonable amount of time at least. Maybe a Ferox.
My advice, run missions back in Empire for your isk, while training up basic skills for a Raven. Or train up to a Ferox and then rat while training up for a Raven.
