After the server maintenance and all the issues that sprung up on wednesday and thursday, I was able to connect and play the game on thursday. Then I tried again thursday night and I couldn't log in. The loggin bar loads all the way, but won't continue to the game, it either gets stuck on "acquiring bulk data," or "generating clusters"(to that affect). I don't understand since I was able to get on thursday during the day but not at all today(friday)

Go to your cache folder (C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\).
Try deleting:
- MachoNet
- Temp
If that does not fix the problem, make a backup of your "prefs.ini" and "Settings" folder and then proceed to delete them. Please update me once you've tried this.

Hey it worked. I deleted machonet and temp then tried and couldn't log in, but when I deleted settings it worked. Didn't have to try removing prefs. Thank you so much.

I cant connect either, I have uninstalled Eve and reinstalled it so evertyhings all cleared out and I still can't connect. Have you got any ideas as to what this could be?

For some reason Ic ant seen to edit my post! Anyhoo, I was trying to add that I have had problems with various websites since I installed my Belkin router, maybe thats it?

Could be, Emirii.. just try to forward the port 26000 in the router to your pc and see if that helps. keep in mind that this opens the port 26000 at all... so before you try this it might be an idea to search for an updated firmware of the router.
