I used botlord as the example because he mentioned the CFC specifically and because I'm relatively familiar with it. If you wanna mentally replace "CFC" with whoever you feel truly deserves credit for inventing renting and NIPs, feel free.

The response to the (rather spirited) internal pushback was basically "we know, but it's gonna make us boatloads of cash". Please kid. Renting in eve existed before goons.
