Just seen this rather groovy-looking iZ3D monitor that uses 2 LCD panels and passive polarised glasses to create a 3D effect in some games.
Anyone from CCP seen this? Reckon you could give it some EVE support loving?

Could at least give some decent sized monitors for that price, and from their specs they look standard anyway.

Yeah I'd have been more "oooh wow" if it was 19" or more, but hey, emergent technology and all that. If it catches on I'm sure they'll expand the range :)
I suppose it's one of those chicken'n'egg things - the more games support it, the more likely it is to catch on, but devs are going to be less inclined to devote coding manpower to supporting it until it catches on...

This technology has being around for decades, just not as refined. The problem is most of us are unable to use this for long period of time without causing strain on their eyes.

i've got glasses that do that, they're pretty good untill they give a headache. UT2004 with those glasses is one of the most awesome things ever I believe.

Crappy. I have those lying around. Alos not working with eve btw. WoW looks nice with those but it gives you a headache and WoW is a crappy game. ;)

EVE doesnt work with nvidia controlled glasses. ( only ones I tried are the edimensional ones )

Personally, I prefer NO altering my POV by artificial means tyvm.. (As it always has sideffects)
A 40" screen 2m from me helpes alot in giving an immensive axperience 
(And btw I wouldn't touch eDimensional with an 11-foot pole.. They scam quite a bit)
