In the spirit of riddles, the md5 hash of the star system's name (in lowercase) is b00920c2a996ae8f4f4349d69273e6d3. You can find a free online hash calculator here.

Before the poor OP descends into a complete breakdown, Someone should probably mention that there is (or was) a homage to Arthur C Clarke/Stanley Kubriks '2001 A Space Oddessy' A large black obelisk was in the game as a large collidable structure. When clicked on for info, the description said 'Its full of stars!'
Dunno where it is though. ------------------

I'm too scared to work out your riddle, I hear you are an ebil pierat intent on killing the unwary and defiling corpses. I run level 3 hauling missions in Jita and am untrained in the dark arts of peeveepee. ------------------

I'll give another hint in addition to my hash. Its pretty near the EVE Gate (though not in the same solar system).

Edited by: EnglishBob on 05/11/2006 03:49:17 I'm starting to think that your Hash calculator is a bit like Zammo from Grange Hill's ****** Calculator, DS.
*Edit* Who'd have thought that the drug featured in 'Trainspotting' would be a starred-out word.
Actually that makes sense. ------------------

Dunno where it is though.
I've read the first book, 2001: A space oddyssey And i would have finished the second book if it wasn't for crappy mainstream books like Mērin (i.e The Moor) wich we are forced to read at my school.
Edit: Oh and the first one was found on the moon. The second one named Big brother was found on a moon of jupiter wich i recall was Io. But i can't find the book now.
The only thing i have no idea about is why you came up with such a 'negative' and degrading reply. --- --- ---

There are four books, all worth a read imho.
A little known fact about Arthur C Clarke is that he was caught in the Tsunami in 2004 and washed out to sea. The coast guard found him off the coast of Sri Lanka, clinging onto a small bhoy.

Oh and it wasn't intended as a negative reply. I was implying that trying to get a serious reply from these forums is enough to drive people to a breakdown.

All the books in the 2001 series are great and worth reading (kept my interest, even at 14 years of age).
But the monolith........dunno'. ---------- My sig is boring. |

It's somewhere out there, in the midst of space. If we indeed do ever find it, it will be a mighty accomplishment for citizens the ages to revere in. -------------------------------------------------------- Working towards my own personal Dreadnought, one ISK at a time. |
