Hello,
the last times was great, you're tweaking a lot of things, add little features, biggers ones on a more regular basis, this is great!
I'm not a very old player (I'm playing since 2009)
But instead of tweaking old codes, Is there a plan for an EVE 2.0? it could be great to have a new gen game... Because when star citizen will be released it will do a lot of damage!!!
You spent a lot of time and energy with walk in station, (eve players will finally be the alpha testers of the world of darkness engine), for , heu , nothing... same for dust, now it's valkyries and project legion. Just make a new EVE and everyone will be happy and if old player still love the older version, I'm sure new players will fall in love the version "2.0".
Well sorry for my english... I love this game but why a not an Up to Date version of it...

This is exactly why everything happens so slowly,
every idea against what is eve actually is rejected, guys let's evolve the game! a lot of features are made for 00 players, and we all know that is not the majority of the players....

Don't even compare SC to eve, if you have even been keeping up to date the only thing similar is that they are space sims.
On a related note on how you think the game needs to get upgraded with better software. Sure it needs to be done but that is not their priority, the game operates fine where its at and there is no need for it. |

the Game is great I love it, but It looks like because of old layers of code sometime it's hard or impossible to implement new "modern" features, like the capability to swith between characters...
Also the game looks nice with Max setting (except the fps during big battles...) but It could be more beautiful... |

Yeah old code can be compilcatet but there are some points for the old code: it work's, its testet and stable. If you start new of, you have to begin just from start. and eve should be persitent universe, so Eve 2 is absolute option.
So, that are some points why, all, and i am say to you: no! go away! |
