Today, I find that I myself am in need (significantly more need than usual, that is), and I humbly ask for you to do so again. May is National Mobility Awareness Month, and my wife has entered me into a contest to win a new wheelchair accessible van, because the one I got when I suffered a spinal cord injury in 2003 is in less than serviceable condition. I suffered a spinal cord injury about 12 years back, and while I don't suffer pain when I'm cold I do get cold often, and it drives me out of my mind. Also just wanted to post to inform you guys that I unfortunately did not win this year. I did, however, want to thank you guys for voting for me. I really appreciate it, especially considering most of you don't even know who I am. Thank you so much for taking the time.

I will assume that you are already working with therapists and what not, but if you ever have any questions about fitness I will do my best to assist you with explanations or concepts via my philosophy within the field. What level is your spinal cord injury?

Though I'm always kind of shocked that you people in the states really have to do all sorts of fund raisers and what not for something that would come as a matter of fact from the social services in most countries in Europe.
