Made me really sad today, you really need to open up the skins atm theres like nov ariety at all, I am nto sure why you removed it when they worked just fine and was actually fun... CCP you dissapoint once again =( |

Huh, I noticed the game was just as fun without the bug. Then again, I didn't spend $$$ or ISK on SKINs at all and don't own a single SKIN license aside from the ones I'm selling. |

Not sure about you but any modern day mmo about spaceships being able to use painjobs on whatever ship you have should be a GIVEN, the game its not just about blowing other pixels out otherwise we wouldnt need graphics just ACCII.
If eve wants to be considered a modern mmo they should really implement a paintjob workshop where we make our own painjobs for every and all ships.
I think they just gave a step backward and it wasnt needed. |

What were you doing before if dressing up your ship increased the fun by 100% for you? You must have been having a really boring experience as most people who actually play the game barely look at their ships.

If you actually play the game and dont just sit in a station, you will be so zoomed out, that you cant even see your ship skin, 80-90% of the entire time.
How this can be such a big issue to you, is beyond me tbh.
Its just your vanity getting the best of you mate. Walk away form the computer, have a snickers and come back in an hour, you will feel much better :)

While ccp fixing the bug didn't remove 50% of the fun for me (only 49.9 percent! lol j/k), I can help but be a bit disappointed.
I don't much care about the visuals of the game, I spend a lot of time zoomed out and so on. But HOT DAMN those skins were nice. I was in an incursion fleet and not all the way zoomed out when a freaking GOLD Machariel flew by. I zoomed in on him and felt like i was in a trance, it was so freaking pretty lol.
I didn't know about the bug so i started trying to figure out if I could get it too. I had removed the nex store button from my neocom and it took a minute to figure out how to get it back.
Understand what I'm saying, this was the FIRST TIME I opened that store thing on purpose (did it by accident once). I would have actually bought something if that mach skins was in there. I also so a dude in fleet with a 'Blood Raiders' Nightmare and i would have bought that too.
This should be a hint to CCP. If that bug can get people like me interested in buying vanity crap out of a store we previously didn't care about, maybe that bug shouldn't be a bug after all... |

what really bothers me is that the modelling function for avatar is so advance and has so many hues of colors ... but the ship customization seems to be somewhere in the Triassic period ...
i would rather the avatar customization be reduced, but part of the engine be brought over to ships. so now ship hangars have modules which player can possibly build/buy to customize their ships instead of plainly buying something with aurum, etc.
so an aurum bought add-on would then need to be put into a special hangar module then the player can re-tool/ re-color/ re-mod the ship ...
ccp should also look into the possibility that POS based hangar can do MORE special mods than NPC stations
and player build outposts can do even more customizations than POS'
that would then make more sense about player build/built stuff
yes? no? like ? do-not-like?
eve is after all ... a player built world ... no ?

I can only hope they will bring that ability back in one for or another. Bugs being bugs I can see why they were removed, also for QA and stuff. But hopefully CCP has seen how much we want stuff like this. Have a little faith people.
