CVA News Flash
In addition to its role thwarting the nefarious plots of Minmatar terrorists the CVA also spends much of its time hunting evil pirates.
Over the past week we had noticed a build up of pirates from the Pirate Coalition in the Yong vicinity and initiated offensive actions against them.
Thanks to many Pirate Coalition pilots' outlaw status, the honourable CVA forces enjoyed a considerable 'Concord' advantage over the pirates - resulting in their adoption of extreme measures to avoid Holy Amarrian Justice.
Indeed in a debate about warp core stabilisers 'tiller' - a Pirate Coalition pilot - made the following statement:
"At the moment I'm targeting only haulers solo in alliance space that responds to gate campers in less than 15mins. Without them (5 stabs) I would of lost 5 ravens alone last night."
Despite these questionable tactics the CVA continued to persecute the pirates - spending many hours breaking up their camps and chasing them all around the Deliverance region. Clearly this was not good for pirate business.
It seems that the CVA's ability to initiate aggression against these evil pirates without worrying about Concord interference has resulted in the Pirate Coalition petitioning Concord and activating an 'official' war.
2006.11.07 00:41 Pirate Coalition has declared war on Curatores Veritatis Alliance. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.
The CVA welcomes this war declaration and looks forward to devastating yet another piratical invasion of Amarrian space.
While we will do everything in our power to ensure that neutrals living in our area are not impacted by the evil pirates we cannot guarantee anyone's safety and would advise extra caution when flying through the Deliverance area (particularly Gemodi/Yong/Biphi) until further notice. Our advice to the neutrals living in our area is to avoid giving the pirates easy kills - as this simply encourages their blood lust.
It is inevitable that these pirates shall be defeated as it is in their nature to continually seek out easy prey - and the CVA is not easy prey...
Victory is inevitable for we are Amarrians defending our Empire with God on our side.

It is sad to see students staying at the University for so long. I guess that your dyslexia makes the studies hard?
Well, before making these kinds of statements, perhaps you ought to read all the threads regarding that issue.
Or better still, make your master read it for you, since he doesn't have to sound every letter. Perhaps you will understand that the IAC incident has been settled long ago.
I do hope that it is dyslexia, and not any other retarding deficiencies.
Good luck, and welcome back when you have the full story. |

I am not sure its worth bothering responding to a freshly qualified pilot straight out of the University who has obviously been put up to this slander by someone who wishes to protect their own identity.
IAC - a friendly industrial alliance with long standing connections to the CVA - was under attack by unscrupulous mercenaries. Were we supposed to stand by and let them die simply because they had some dubious friends?
The fact is - The Priory - who have been consistent enemies of the CVA agreed to cease piratical operations in our sphere of influence and they have been good to their word. If that changes then they will be made KOS again. Simple as that. In addition the CVA never ceased its own anti-piracy operations in the Deliverance region (low-sec Amarr space and Providence) during the mercenary assault on IAC - as a quick investigation of our kill statistics would demonstrate.
The CVA has been a consistent enemy of pirates in Amarrian space right back to when Sarum Prime was a low security system. That has not and never will change...

Hmmm, to me this reads as "Pirates that operate outwith our sphere of influence are fine", an accusation that has been long standing against the CVA but clearly the spin-doctors were having a day off prior to this announcement.

Our interest has always been in protecting Amarr citizens within the Amarr Empire or Deliverance region.
While we have on occasion engaged pirates outside Amarr/CVA space this is not our prime focus.
What reason would we have to police Gallente, Caldari or Minmatar space - other than to show them how effectively Amarrians deal with pirates. If the other Empires ever want to live up to our Amarrian standards they will have to deal with their own piracy problems.
Of course when the 'reclaiming' begins (and the Concord shackles are removed) pirates everywhere will swiftly be cleansed by the might of the holy Amarrian navy as we impose our peace and civilisation upon the galaxy. Of course that will be dependent upon the wishes of our new Emperor as and when we get one.
In the meantime the CVA will continue to protect Amarrian interests from piracy even if our hands are often tied by Concord.

Whatever someones views or observations on the forums you should never personnaly attack there intelligence or make fun of people who have a disability of any kind. I have no idea if this is agaisnt EULA but people shoudl use common sense and think before they speak. Personnaly i hope you get banned from the forums. Making fun of someone with a disability just makes the person who is doing it bad, someone cannont help how they are born. A simple you've got it wrong this is how it was would have sufficed.

I think it is clear who this young pilots master is.
As for the matter that is on hand:
I'm afraid pirate coalition may have trouble shooting our haulers in our space even with a war. Why would defenders of the empire need to fly a hauler in a area of conflict? The only ships this coalition will be seeing are ships that are well equipped with weapons of holy enlightenment, and i promise, there will be enlightenment.

You're really pulling the ol' heartstrings, there, Blooder. Perhaps you should dig into your own organization's twisted catechism before taking digs at the CVA for "making fun of the disabled."

CVA will no doubt crush the Pirate Coalition.
If the combined forces of KIA, Priory, and associates could not break them, I very much doubt they can.
Best of luck, CVA.

In this case, it was a insult for the insulting question, which already was thouroughly discussed and clear. So normally, disabilities are nothing to joke about, but since the student hadn't done the homework and accused CVA, I felt that a sharper sting than usual was in order.
And my personal opinion is my own, so what the CVA or Amarr standings are regarding disabled children, I simply don't know. But I doubt there is a general rule regarding it.
