New Eden, fabled in Eve history, but of all the systems I have visited, by far the most disappointing, I would have thought that you would have actually included the EVE Gate in the system as a warp to able point, for people to go and see the piece of technology that brought our ancestors here, but nothing except something that resembles a second star far off in the distance, this is the 1st time a part of EVE has really disappointed me. _______________________________________________

The reason for New Eden is so well known is that the old Eve-Gate that linked Eve universe with the old world of the Earth was there. Then the gate collapsed, and with it all communications with Earth. The blackhole that destroyed the Eve-gate also sucked all planets and such with it, therefore the system is empty. New Eden has history, not much scenery tho.
clagnuts> im drunk just come back from pirates night in spain , wtf i thought it was some eve guys getting together for a drink , turned out to be a feken real pirates show , doh |

the worm hole collapsed but the gate was left and "apperantly" ebglfed the gates rendering them inoperable due to the magnetic stors round the gates _______________________________________________

I liked it there. Very relaxing, flying towards the gate with the solar winds singing louder than in any other place. Of course one never reaches the gate but what the heck :)

I visited New Eden last week, and I have to say that even though I did expect more of it I still liked it a lot. There should've been atleast a research station of some sort there, but the system was all but empty. Still, it was relaxing with the Eve Gate slowly swirling in the distance.

Obviously you've never tried to mine an asteroid with 3 Bistot in it.

Disapointing, lucky I didn't create it, or your 2000 year backward ass would have been deposited in a zoo somewhere.
You realize that even with Jovian technology, we have lower technology then what's on the otherside of the gate.
Maybe you could become somebody's pet ape boy
Stop griping about server instability and go buy an EVE mug!
Additionally with the purchase of each mug you will receive two(2) invisible Elves.

I've survived concord assaults before, but usually with barely any health left. One time I laid out a minefield of what must have been a thousand mines at a stargate for the hell of it, unfortunately a nearby floating concord bs tripped one of them, and the whole field exploded in a very pretty, and massive chain of explosions. They splashed the gate, concord and myself, and might have killed a lesser concord, i dunno, as I was running like hell with a concord fleet behind me:. |
