Heya all, now, when them there deep core mining lasers came out, i'm SURE, ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that they had a funky silver shell look to them, like two "silver things" and a "pew-pew pipe".
Did I dream this or have they been changed? (if they were changed then they were changed a long time ago, I just couldn't be arsed to write this until now)

nope, definately the turret version and it had a blue beam. OMG! it had a blue beam!
YES! i'm not making it up, it really happened! It was silver, had like 5km range with a blue beam. Tada! Who else remembers?

I am so positive that i am correct that I have decided to threaten CCP, no, not with the closure of twelvety million accounts, something much worse.
If I am not proved right then I will break my "LMB" finger with a small hammer and then play eve non-stop from downtime to downtime, the constant pain driving me quite quite mad and the resulting letter I manage to create will be sent to CCP hq and will drive all there quite ill with grief and regret.
Please, for everyone's sakes SOMEONE say they also saw this laser?

nopers, it was basically the same effect as an ice harvester has but it was in turret form. It just changed into the regular boring "Depp core mining laser" i'm sure of it

Benco is right, Deep Cores used to have a blue lazer effect. Basically mining lazers with a different colour beam...
and now they are boring :(

I believe they were changed because the Ice Miners wanted the monopoly Blue Laser effect.
